Yesterday JeanS printed an article from the American Prowler claiming that the Dems. in Florida were going to fake a poll showing McBride within 5 points of Jeb Bush.
Lookie here!
Sour Grapefruits: AL SHOW NO-SHOWS (McAuliffe to release bogus Florida poll?) , American Prowler, Sept. 19, 2002
DNC chairman Terry McAuliffe is so excited about McBride he's expected to trot out a Florida Democratic Party poll claiming McBride is within five points of Gov. Jeb Bush Don't believe it. Every responsible poll, even from the Bush-hating Miami Herald, has the guv ahead by double digits.

McBride aims to close gap with Gov. Bush
By Rachel La Corte
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
TAMPA - Gubernatorial candidate Bill McBride met behind closed doors Thursday with national Democratic leaders and about 80 top state party donors to figure out how to close the monetary gap between him and Republican Gov. Jeb Bush.
Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe met McBride and the donors at a Tampa hotel, trying to figure out how to raise at least $10 million over the next six weeks to finance the campaign, state party chairman Bob Poe said.
Poe said the donors were shown an internal party poll that has McBride within 5 percentage points of Bush.

They printed the bogus poll....courtesy of the DNC's McAuliffe and Poe, AP and the Tallahassee Democrat.
I e-mailed them the Prowler piece from the previous day, told them that Jeb and Florida voters deserved a retraction and the truth about their candidates.
E-mail the Tall. Dem.

An "internal party poll" ???
Does this mean it was only distributed to Florida's democrat party members? If so, things are looking good for Bush if 52% of democrats plan to vote for him.

An "internal party poll" ??? Does this mean it was only distributed to Florida's democrat party members? No it means it was distributed to members of McBride's family. ;-)

There must be a training camp somewhere (a la Al Queda) where the democrats learn immorality, scamming and sleazy behavior.

Absolutely great job!
These RATs led by Mcauliffe -- aka clintons will do everything and anything to win that Florida Governor's race! They have no integrity whatsoever! Their motto "win at any cost" is more true than we can possibly know.
The DNC is asking local state parties to donate to McBride which I find sickening!

There must be a training camp somewhere (a la Al Queda) where the democrats learn immorality, scamming and sleazy behavior. That is so true. I heard Senator Nickles say this summer that the new DemocRATs that have taken over in the Senate are nothing like the ones he knew when he first went to the Senate. He said you would disagree vehemently on policy in Committees, on the floor of the Senate, and in the cloakroom, but then you would go out and have dinner together because you were still friends. Sen Nickles went on to say that is not the case in the Senate anymore! That told me a lot! These Senate RATs have no integrity and their "win at any cost" prevails through daschle/clinton and their handpicked Senators from 1998 and 2000!

If they distributed the poll to FL Dems, it was a waste of time. Unless they disseminated the information orally, I mean.

One of the sleaziest DNC operatives is now working in NC, having been chased out of Florida. Makes you want to kick some DNC clymers, huh?
Erskine Bowles, State Democrat Party Forced to Pull "Misleading" Ad, check out the comments re. Scott Falmlen.
In November 1998, The Orlando Sentinel reported that the "Florida Democratic Party jettisoned [Falmlen] ... in an attempt to reverse its fortunes after a disastrous election season." The Sentinel went on to say " Florida Democrats have witnessed a steep drop in their stature under Falmlen's watch." (David Nitkin and Linda Kleindienst, "Florida Democrats' Top Campaigner Is Out," The Orlando Sentinel, November 21, 1998)
(From post #20):
Martin spoke on a panel entitled "Scaring Seniors and Stealing Elections."
He said the Chiles campaign paid $360,000 to purchase 684,000 names and phone numbers of seniors in 7 key Republican counties, targeting Jeb Bush supporters, telling them Bush will take away Medicare and that the calls were from the Florida Association of Senior Citizens.
Martin said seniors are outraged by this name deception and totally false message. Jeb Bush couldn't take away Medicare even if he wanted ot and Gov. Chiles knows it.
1994 - Jeb barely lost the election...because of dirty tricks, the only way the Dems. can win.

We need to send a memo to those who missed the post-'election 2000', post-911 meetings. We are no longer tolerating the lies, the cheating, the destruction of our American way, our elections, our peaceful transfer of power by the Democratic Party.
Love, GOP (^:
