I don't think the patriots ever get good media coverage.

In Fresno, the media focuses on the protestors. They paint their hands and show up at city hall and get large pictures printed in our local paper and also get TV coverage.

What do we need to do to get half as much media attention?

Media coverage? Surely you jest! No, the peaceniks are covered week after week. On an after thought they may ask us about our opinion, but it rarely makes it to print. Week after week, zilch! No, FR is the only reliable coverage we get. It is sad, but at the same time revealing. Media coverage isn't our goal, but the troops and enlisted seeing this, is a goal. I think we have succeeded.

Try sending a PRESS RELEASE with your own photographs to the newspaper and demand they show your counter-protest.

If they still refuse....write a letter to the editor about your Operation Infinite FReep!

Persistance is the key....keep bugging them until you get coverage!

Oh yes, your peaceniks are cuties, especially your first one , the "long haired hippy freak" who is dressed like Britney Spears! LOL . They sure give you trouble don' t they? Ours don't really say much of anything to us which is just as well.
Great job guys as usual. Really good post!

Thanks, Julie

I will try that. Also, we will be having a collection barrel for our 2nd annual Treat for Troops in three weeks or so. I will try to get some coverage for that!
The Pro-Terrorists are much better organized; they have been doing this for over 40 years. Their signs are professionally made and they have special radio programming to get the word out.
A few weeks ago, a man stopped by and told us that he wanted to join us because he heard our program on the radio. After we told him that we had no radio show and that the traitors were across the street, he left to join them.

Thanks for showing your support for the troops! I don't know how you can stomach looking at those 60's throwbacks.

The vets for peace still insist that if we haven’t worn the uniform, we have no right to an opinion. The vets among our side have no right to an opinion because they had more vets on their side than we did.

This attitude really gets to me. For the record I'm a vet and my husband is currently in the ANG(28 years)is that good enough for em. How about rounding up some active duty military to join your side and see how they would respond to that situation.

Good job Missouri FReepers, and the ziplettes. Thank you so much for taking your stance against the peacenik slime each week. And you are so right, our military can see that they are being supported right here on FReeRepublic. You make us all proud.

You mean they want us to "play nice" when they're so nasty to us?

1. These are the same long-haired hippies that supported the communists in El Salvador and Nicaragua with a group called Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador (CISPES), the Mizzou Peace Studies Program (university funded long-hairs) and Poli Sci dept., the Nuke Freeze movement, etc. There are typically between 5-10 leftist "student" groups with overlapping membership in any given year, and each is funded by student fees. In other words, hippies don't have to work...student money pays for them to sit out there and protest.

2. I'm so glad that they've found the Freeper posts. It is with great pride that I out myself as one of the ringleaders of the conservatives who destroyed over 300 shanties these no-talent @ss clowns built on the quadrangle in support of Marxists in South Africa.

3. In case they are wondering where the Peace Pole went, can you say woodchipper? :-)

Columbia FReepers keep up the good work.

Yes, they read our sites. Of course the logic of what we are trying to convey escapes them.

One question that I have found which they will not answer directly, nor can they answer directly is this:

Considering the 5000 years of recorded history of man is absolutely chuck full of wars where the strong have destroyed the weak and where violence has been a political tool of all social structures, what has changed in the nature of man which makes you think that pacifism will actually work?

Of, course they never answer directly. They always trot out some B.S. about the necessity of a "paradiam" shift or that "in a nuclear age" man must "evolve." Pure looney tunes.

Since man has not changed significantly since the days of Roman we still need our soldiers, sailors and airman to protect us from foreign enemies. We also need our police officers, coast guard and fire officers to protect us from domestic barbarians. And MOST importantly, we need our heads in the right place so that we know how to support all those people, both with our own actions as the citizen milita (yes, our founders trusted the people as the ultimate defensive army), and as the loyal home front.

These peaceniks will never be the a loyal home front, let alone a part of a citizen miltia. They are, as better writers than I have observed, traitors of the heart. They will not support their county no matter what the injury America suffers.

A apologize for my rant, they piss me off.

Surprise, surprise. lol Of course, that's the way it works with them. Two sets of rules - typical liberal behavior. Bluesagewoman has been threatened by a "bad driver" who thought she might run over the curb and hit her, I've been called an (clymer) by one of their more vocal "vets" and Dogrobber has to respond to their ridiculous statements daily. It's a zoo across the street. It makes it all worth while to know it upsets them to see us there.

God Bless our troops and vets.

Just as JulieRNR21 said keep engaging the media.

Of course seeing your FReep report here does get the word out to the troops and the rest of FReeperdom.

But any time a FReeper sign with "FreeRepublic.com" gets published or an article mentioning FReeRepublic.com gets printed we gain new FReepers (at least lurkers.)

So keep showing the flag and countering the left every time the dare act up against freedom.

That is a damn good point, I will try to remember that!
