Prayers for my Dad

My father was just diagnosed with colon cancer and I would like to ask for prayers for his surgery this Friday (8/30/02) and for his recovery from this terrible disease. He is a gentleman, a Christian and a family man who taught me most of the important things I rely on to this day. I can only hope be a good of a man and father as he has been. Thank you all.

A co-worker was diagnosed for colon cancer as well. She was urged to have surgery right-away. Her gut told her to get a second opinion and she did at the Cleveland Clinic and she does not have cancer at all.

I will be glad to pray for Bob, for successful surgery, and an uneventful recovery.

I hope he keeps his spirits up and knows that this can be beat. I also have a friend who went thru it all, and is doing just fine.
