Heavenly Father, we are all struggling with our own issues and fallibility, but I ask You to look beyond these things into our hearts and see the genuine concern and love we all have towards this precious child of Yours.

Father, you know this mother's pain and fear. Nothing is as precious to us as our children. We would do anything for them, even die without a second thought if we thought this would save them. You stood by and watched Your own Son die that we, Your creations, would have a permanent home with You. You know what anguish sears the soul of parents when their child is sick or in danger. I beg You, Almighty Father, to release this child from the illness that has so afflicted her. Destroy utterly whatever is making her sick. Grant wisdom and skill to her physicians that they may prescribe only the treatments You wish her to have, and return her whole and completely healed to her loving mother. Grant this child long life and prosperity in Your service, Dearest Father. Provide for each and every need within this family, fill her mother's heart with the confidence and courage she will need to be an active combatant in this fight against disease. Grace both her and her daughter with Your constant presence, that they will both know You are in control. Thank You, Father, for Your tender mercies towards us. In Jesus' name I ask all these things, that love and health may permiate this family. Amen!

May the innocent strength that He gives to His littlest ones who suffer, in this case, Zoe ... pass to her Mom and all her caretakers! The fighting spirit comes from His Love and may the gentle Wisdom of the Holy Spirit allow soothing comfort to this Mom. It is beyond our understanding but within our power to pray.

My prayers go up for little Zoe and her family at this time. I find it so hard to read about the suffering of children, especially since I have a daughter Zoe's age and am expecting a baby boy due in two weeks. Things like this always leave me at a loss for words, but I feel them in my heart very deeply and offer them up to God constantly.

I know I'm not making much sense, but I'm just a little emotional these days. May the love of our Lord and our Mother Mary wrap around and hold Zoe close.

As one who works in this field, I know what Zoe Skye, Shawna, and the rest of her family are going through.

My prayers are with the child and her family. May God the Eternal Father, through His Son our Lord Christ Jesus, in the Power of the Holy Spirit, bless this child of His and send His angel of mercy to her and her family to guide, protect, and lead them all to help accomplish His Will in this trying time and lead them to see His greater Glory in all of these events.
