August 22, 2002 -- Vivendi-Universal is bankrolling a new documentary defending anti-American terrorism - and a second media conglomerate, Viacom, is sponsoring the flick's red-carpet premiere in Toronto on Sept. 11.

The film, "11'09"01," consists of 11 Sept. 11-themed shorts, several of which are being described as "stridently anti-American," that a Vivendi-Universal subsidiary commissioned from a team of international directors.

Viacom - interesting! This is the company that gave mega bucks to Hillary, Ted Kennedy and John McCain!

Agreed. And since the Euros think it's so cute, we should strip search every citizen entering the U.S. from any EU nation

I regret that at present Britain is an EU nation. I hope you do not intend this policy towards us.

For the most part, I agree with you. Sadly, I fear what will happen when the next PM from the Labour Party is in charge, or what will happen if a Liberal Democrats becomes PM. I hope that the likes of George Monibot don't speak for most in the UK, but I'm not so sure that is the case...

"....Sounds like the wicked are the ones who will be removed, not a "raptured" church....."

Actually, this passage gives a lot of credibility to what the Jehovah Witnesses teach; that is, that the Kingdom is already here, it must be purified and cleansed.

Jesus never said anyone had to die to go to heaven. He said that the Kingdom is within you. It's a matter of degree of yielding to the Holy Spirit.

I don't really consider Britain part of the EU. The citizens there do not seem to wish to stay in, nor support the union.

If you get another liberal into power, which sadly the UK probably will, then all bets are off. I fear another Chamberlain in your future, and when England is attacked by the terrs, the new government will probably try to purchase peace in our time.

There will not be a Liberal PM in my lifetime. That I am sure of. Unless the Labour Party truly has a heart attack and keels over dead, it's impossible.

The next Prime Minister will be Conservative, and I am reasonably sure it will be Iain Duncan Smith, a former soldier. His honest demeanour contrasts nicely with a Tony Blair that no one trusts.

Polls still show consistent majorities for not joining the Euro and indeed leaving the EU.

Ivan, I truely hope that soon there is a voter backlash against the pro-EU members of your government. It's the only way to save your great nation. You have to get out of the EU, we have to get out of the UN.

Being out of the EU hasn't hurt Norway and Switzerland; it will not hurt us. I think that as the Euro progressively fails, the desire to leave the EU will strengthen.

Viacom, is sponsoring the flick's red-carpet premiere in Toronto on Sept. 11.

I see a subtle but insidious message here...

One person interviewed by Chahine in the film reportedly remarks, "The U.S. and Israel are democracies, their governments are elected by their people - thus it is legitimate to attack their people."

Another zinger, a stroke of genius!
If this "logic" is taken at face value, we could never attack Iraq.
The hair-raising thing is, many doo-gooders see this as a perfectly moral and ethical position.

Scary.

Let's not fall into the trap of placing all the blame on the Euroweenies and other foreignweenies. There's plenty of "Americans" involved in the production and distribution of this film.

"...the sheep costume won't fit the wolves anymore..."

The parable, as with all things from Y'shua, is perfect in ways we discover only slowly. The black hair protruding from the seams in the white lambskin is too obvious. The only hope for the wolf is misdirection (twas ever thus). His voice must become increasingly strident and his finger ever longer in directing the attention of the onlookers elsewhere. "There! Over there! They are the evil ones!" Hence the Hebrew, Ha Satan - the Adversary, the Accuser.

Deception is a hallmark of this age. Matt 24: '...to deceive even the elect, if that were possible.'

Blessings on Freepers Everywhere.

I've never read a more compelling argument for imposing a global "PAX AMERICANUS". World peace at the barrel of a US gun.

I agree.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about!

Let's get this party started. Colonize Europe first.

Any conservative who uses Viacom after this thread is an Islamakazis abettor and supporter.

Go to Dish.com and get rid of your ViaCom cable.

This is proof that the Opecker Princes have great allies in the left wing media clymers like Viacom and Studio Canal, the Vivendi-Universal subsidiary. Both firms need an America boycott as well as any actors who got their 40 pieces of silver in 9/11 blood money.

The Euroweinies are going to be a heck of a lot of fun to watch if, in fact, Hussein & terrorist groups decide to actually use them in some fashion to further their cause. The EU seems to think that if they cower down sufficiently and keep their mouths shut except to bash the USA, the bad guys won't give them wedgies & take their milk money.

Yeppa, who they gonna call when terrorists tell them to bend over & grab their ankles? The UN? LMAO!!!
