Her recipes STINK ! I used to read the magazine as a joke book. LOL

The very FIRST time, I ever saw her ( I like to watch cooking shows and PBS had her do a special for Thanksgiving, in the '80s ), I knew she was a fraud. She talks down to people ( same kind of tone and inflection as algore has; just makes my teeth ache ! )and since I am a very good cook, I knew that what she was doing, was a crock.

I don't watch her; however, I think that she actually may be on something, when she does her shows. :-)

She had this really bad fried chicken recipe one month. I took one look at it, faxed it to my dad, who is an expert of all things fried, and we both agreed: If you followed her recipe, you'd have very dry chicken with mushy coating. I am certain a 12 year old boy could have written a better recipe.

I still like watching Julia Child re-runs. And I like Sarah Moulton too.

Julia Childs is FANTASTIC ! I also like Jaquer Peppin; especially the shows he does with his daughter and the ones he does with Julia. I'm afraid that I don't know who Sarah Moulton is. Please enlighten. :-)

Most of Martha's recipes seem to either turn into inedable goo, or sound just plain old disgusting ! Even her recipe for standing rib roast looked vile and I can't imagine cooking one, as was called for.

I think the real reason Martha Stewart is in trouble with the law is not so much that she gained an advantage in sekking her shaes on the advice of her broker, but that she lied to the feds when she was asked about it. She could have claimed ignorance about the propriety of selling before the news that the drug was rejected for testing, but lying about what happened can't be explained away.

Not only was I feeling sorry for her, I thought that most of those that I saw demonizing her on tv were Democrats. I kept wonderint why they were turning on one of their own.

It's was like one of those bad movies that you keep watching in hope to figure out the point .. only to find out you should have changed the channel hours ago

According to " MARTHA , INC. " , she makes " her people ", write precise scripts, demands that they be put in a specific place, and then, most of the time, NEVER even looks at them. This has a funny way of making her completely unaware of what she's supposed to do and say, in any segment of her show. Then, because it goes badly, she has a major fit, swears a blue streak, and blames EVERYONE, but the guilty person ; herself.
