Julia Childs is FANTASTIC ! I also like Jaquer Peppin; especially the shows he does with his daughter and the ones he does with Julia. I'm afraid that I don't know who Sarah Moulton is. Please enlighten. :-)

Most of Martha's recipes seem to either turn into inedable goo, or sound just plain old disgusting ! Even her recipe for standing rib roast looked vile and I can't imagine cooking one, as was called for.

Yes but Martha can iron a heck of a crease ..

I watched one show and she just amazed herself at how nice it looked because that was all she kept saying ..

Sara Moulton has a show on Food TV. Julia Childs is her biggest inspiration.

Ladies, ladies, our new heroine is the divine Nigella Lawson! She cooks real food, in her real house, with her real children running about and makes no bones about the fact that faced with the choice between eating and skinniness, she very definitely chose eating.

She's utterly and charmingly unpretentious, particularly when she's dunking her finger in the whipped cream to taste, instead of using a proper silver spoon a la Ms. Stewart.

Watching her show, you are just dying to be invited over to her house for a big bowl of pasta tossed with double cream sauce and a huge glass of $10 white wine, followed by a big honking slab of chocolate cake with even more double cream plopped on top. She's fabulous.
