Republicans on Capitol Hill are probing her sex life!Oh please, nobody's that sick.

Dear Matt,
Please tell the Rats that this isn't going to work this time. We are on to their tricks. No one cares a whit about Martha's sex life, and in fact, not many of us care about Martha.
Please ask Joe Liebermman: WHEN IS ROBERT RUBIN GOING TO BE CALLED BEFORE THE SENATE?
Respectfully,
Miss Marple

The close Stewart friend predicted Americans will rally behind Stewart the same way many did with President Clinton during his impeachment. Who rallied behind Klinton? Those who stood to lose their hand outs if he were removed from office.

Sure, it's all politics. The fact that maybe she violated the LAW has nothing to do with it.
Just like all the other big business Democrats who are going down. Er, uh, I mean big business is a Republican thing, right? No, but it's a Republican conspiracy, Martha!
These left wing conspiracy theorists are getting tied up in knots! That's okay, they don't think too deeply anyway. If they did, they wouldn't be leftists.

I read this article, and I thought "she's guilty, and they've got her dead to rights"
Nobody goes to war like this, nobody but Clinton.
I think she sees herself going to jail.
Amazing

Democrats floated this. They are going after Martha to hide what Winnick and Rubin did.

This is the best thing that could happen right now. The masses will see a pretentious woman, her insider stock trading, and an effort by herself and her staff to link themselves to Clinton.
Perfect.

No Martha. It's Janet Reno. She thinks you're a hotty!

Martha's employing "The Clinton Defense?"
She will lose a considerable part of her TV audience if she goes this route.
For the most part, the women who watch her show and buy her magazine for tips on home-keeping are traditional women who are home with their kids. Not Hitlery-clones who look down on women who stay home and bake cookies.

Who cares what this bimbo thinks.
She made a billion with glitter paint.
See laid down with rats and woke up with fleas.
Why should I feel sorry.

Sure, it's all politics. The fact that maybe she violated the LAW has nothing to do with it. The problem is the punishment doesn't fit the crime, if she in fact broke the law. At most she saved about $34,000. I don't know if it's a Republican vendetta, but it sure looks like she's being setup as a scapegoat by the government.
To: LarryLied
I agree. That was the point of my post.
If Matt Drudge reads this, I hope he realizes that leaks from the Clintonistas are rather easily spotted, and this strategy isnt going to work. He might as well tell his Rat sources to go peddle their wares elsewhere.
Anyone who thinks that the House Finance Committee is interested in Martha's sex life is not playing with a full deck. Furthermore, no one would believe that she HAS a sex life (catty comment by Miss Marple provided gratis).

So, it really was the Dem's "New Economy!"

Martha should be grateful that someone would even think that she as a sex life.
To: IncPen
I just hope there are no cigars involved.
To: Paul Atreides
Maybe it's the same people that made Ross Perot quit after they messed with his daughters wedding?
Aw! No way! Am I getting paranoid too? I can't believe I said that.
Seriously, it's likely that it was the flying monkees that they used in the wizard of Oz movie. I'd bet that's the deal. Those monkees are sneaky plus they hate anyone that knows which knives and forks go where in a 5 course meal. Ever since those monkees got out of area 51 in Roswell New Mexico they have been doing stuff like this. Poor Martha, she never had a chance.
To: Paul Atreides
I shudder at what Martha could do with a decorative cigar..
Sounds like a 'very special' episode of Martha Stewart's Living!
