My pleasure! Thanks for posting the Finest today!
Nothing short of a medical emergency could have kept me from being here at the time of posting - and it was that, with a pre-dawn severe insulin reaction.
However, 'break time' is over, and it is my joy to see you in the Spotlight, dear friend!!
That is were my Dad's people were from.
My grandfather on my dad's side was born in Marshall, NC. Most of my relatives live in a small mountian community near Marshall called Shelton Laurel. Named for one of the folks who settled there in the early 19th centuary.
I am a direct descendant of that settler.
So I can say HOWDY,Neighbor!
That looks soooo good!<p. Thank you for the Southern breakfast!
Afternoon there Pipster. Great to see you. ;-)
afternoon hugs...:)))
Passionate about her Lord, her country, FREEDOM and TRUTH!!
They couldn't pick anyone better than you Freedom'sWorthIt, to join the elite ranks of FR's FINEST!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
My mother's forebears came to South Carolina in the 1600's, including Thomas Smith (one of the first landgraves), to Charles Town and Georgetown.
My sister and I once went to Medway Plantaion and took one another's pictures beside 'Papa Tom's' grave - no pomposity here, with probably 1,396,078 other descendents by now..:)))
My mother's father, and his father and father-in law were ministers, and he kept his long family history (from England forward) recorded in his Bible.
You no doubt are aware at one time the CAROLINAS were ONE state, Thomas Smith one of its early governors.
Therefore, FWI is actually a True Sistah...:)))
