"Get bent?"...real classey remark

And your telling other posters to "be quiet" is the epitome of elegance? Go play, child. The adults are talking.

No, you are an emotional wreck. It isn't fair responding to you, as you are obviously very fragile..

Good evening. sw

How long did the child suffer, for a couple of minutes of sexual perversion. And why do they have to kill their victims..This was what Samantha's Mother said last night "WHY do they have to kill them?"...

They kill them because there is no disincentive not to kill them. If they knew they would get jail by not killing the victim, but certain painful death if they did kill, there would be fewer killings.

The death penalty saves lives. I'd bet this doesn't happen in Texas too much.

Missouri has and applies the death penalty, fortunately. St. Louis County's prosecutor (for whom I used to work) is not the least bit reluctant to seek the death penalty where appropriate (and I'm guessing he'll consider this an appropriate case).

That's what I believe Ipberg means. I agree with him/her completely. The only normal people who would not agree would be those who do not understand what Ipberg meant

Ipberg is a Canadian living in the Socialist Republic of Canada who does not have a Constitution like that of the United States. He has been so indoctrinated in the Canadian/Socialist way of life that he has absolute faith that his government can take care of him no matter what the crisis.

Ipberg is not the kind of individual who I take kindly to criticizing the United States of America on our GUARANTEED RIGHTS......

To top it off, he actually blamed this event on Libertarian principles which he implied were being implemented in Canada!!!!! And as I stated to him in a previous post, Canada is hardly the place to adopt Libertarian principles........

I don't know what has happened but if this socialist pig has been eliminated good riddance.....

"Ditto! There is no parent that hasn't at one time or another had a lapse in judgement for the time that their child could be snatched by some pervert. Working parents and single parents are especially vulnerable."

As a parent who is accused of being over protective, I can tell you that it is impossible to watch all of your children, all of the time. Am I supposed to keep all 4 of my kids in the house while I get done the things that I need to get done? That would be great for them! Then I would hear about using the nintendo as a babysitter.

It is ridiculus to blame parents that allow a child to play outside IN FRONT OF THEIR OWN HOUSE for the actions of a satan inspired sexual deviant.

Any of you who are parents and tell me you follow your child around all day every day are not being honest. Yes I agree that parents should know where the kids are at all time. HOWEVER it is impossible for the parents and unfair to the child to try and keep the child next to the parent all day. My 9 year old is allowed to ride his bike around the neighborhood. My 5 year old is allowed to play in front of the house with other kids, as is my 3 year old. (My 5 month old won't let us out of HIS sight.) Do i check on them frequently? Yes. Do I watch them every second? NO.

Go ahead an tell me how I am just ASKING to have one of my children grabbed.

Missed the offending comment.

Me too. I hate it when that happens. Anytime a freeper sees some disruptor posting an outrageous or offensive comment, it is a good idea to copy and paste the offending comment into a reply to the jerk immediately. That way, their idiocy can be preserved for all to see.

I just thought I'd give this thread a bump so your radiant ignorance can be shared with others.

You have no idea of that which you speak, but it's mighty kind of you to keep posting so readers can be absolutely certain that you are indeed the fool they thought when seeing your first post.

Post on, mighty moron, the show is great.

Oh...and since you like pictures, here's that one I snapped of you last week.

Was I hearing things or did someone say the parents had let a homeless guy spend the night in their home?

The parents and the little girl had spent the night at a friend's house across the street from the mother's parents. The "homeless guy" was the mother's friend's brother who had spent the night in the same house.

,i>A biologically unrelated adult male living in the home is the single biggest risk to a child's life

This is true, but read the story again. The little girl's father was staying at the home of a friend because he and his wife were separated, and the little girl was staying there with him. Apparently the 'transient' was staying there as well, and was sleeping on the couch. When the father returned from the bathroom to get his daughter some breakfast, she was gone and so was the 'transient'. It was within the hour that the guy came back all wet and said he'd been swimming in the river. I'm sure that's how they found her so quickly. The police went to the river where the guy said he'd gone.

Bad judgement call on her Daddy's part. I think he'll have a hard time forgiving himself for this.

For some reason seeing the picture of this guy reminds me (same color hair, same shape eyes) of a young boy 15-16 years old, who several years ago took a very young child across some railroad tracks and brutally molested and murdered him.

Darn! I just can't remember the names or where this happened.

No I am not blaming the kids, I blame the government for taking a parents rights away. Now in Washington they have passed a bully law, so you had better watch out what you even say. I know, I have a niece that said something she should'nt have and got turned in to the cops.

Did you listen to Samantha's beautiful Mother on Larry King last night?

She said the same thing you just posted. She doesn't think it is normal to not allow a child to play outside their own home, in their own neighborhood, and does not blame herself, or her Mother. She said people can't live in fear and keep their children locked up.

This was a tragic, random act of Evil...was her opinion.

I used to play outside also but times are different and I lived in a neighborhood where people had lived for years. Even then my Mom wouldn't let me play in the front yard -- always in the back. If I went to my girlfriend's up two houses up and across the street -- she watched me until I went in the front door. And I grew up in a town of 2500 where you walked to school.

When I had my three kids, times had already changed and they were never allowed at that age to play in the front yard without me being right there. Call me an overprotective mother -- my three played in the backyard with the gates to backyard fixed so they couldn't open them to get out. Even then I worked in the back of the house to keep an eye on what was going on.

I lived in a foothill town of SoCal but even then I was very leary of what I observed of some of the people that went up our street thinking we were the road to Oak Glen and stopped to ask directions.

Just put me in the category that every parent should be overprotective when it comes to the safety of their children.

Why not? Two innocent little girls are murdered! One was grabbed and then murdered while playing in front of her Grandmother's condo with a friend and no adult supervision. The other little girl was put in a situation by her Father. IMO in both instances parents or whoever was responsible for both girls, didn't do an adequate job of protecting them.
