The global strategic threat (Joseph Farah warns of WWIII)
WorldNetDaily ^ | July 23, 2002 | Joe Farah

"We're going to have something in the way of a major nuclear event in this country," Warren Buffett, the second wealthiest man in the world, told stockholders of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. just 11 weeks ago. "It will happen. Whether it will happen in 10 years or 10 minutes, or 50 years ... it's virtually a certainty."

What does Warren Buffett, whose major business is insurance, know that you don't know?

He probably knows a great deal more than I know. But, because of my position, I'm blessed with intelligence sources. I'm also cursed with them.

I don't like to be an alarmist, but withholding information is not in my nature as a newsman. People turn to me for my analysis and my insight into current events. Based on what I know, I believe the next 12 months will be life-changing for many of us. I believe we will see dramatic developments and experience horrors that will make Sept. 11 pale by comparison.

You've read and heard a great deal about a likely U.S. attack on Iraq. It is coming. I am not giving away any state secrets here. Saddam Hussein knows it is coming, and he is preparing for it. Shortly, some time in the next year, the U.S. will launch an all-out attack on Iraq designed to finish the war we should have finished a decade ago. The objective will be to hunt down Saddam Hussein and his inner circle and kill them all, while simultaneously locating and destroying his growing stockpile of weapons of mass destruction.

Iraq has nuclear weapons and will be in a position to mass produce them within a year. Iraq has enormous stockpiles of biological weapons, most hidden beneath mosques and palaces. Iraq has chemical weapons. Iraq has delivery systems with a 650-kilometer range and, within two years, will be producing its own inter-continental ballistic missiles with a range of 3,000 kilometers. Iraq has terrorists prepared to bring weapons of mass destruction into major cities in the United States and throughout the West. According to my intelligence sources, Baghdad is waiting for the inevitable U.S. attack to launch its suicide bombers and missiles.

When the U.S. attacks, a new fiendish, apocalyptic wave of mass destruction and terrorism will begin. The longer the U.S. waits, the more the threat and Iraq's capabilities increase.

The attack on Iraq, when it comes, will be severe. It will involve hundreds of thousands of U.S. troops. It will make Afghanistan look like a tea party by comparison. It will make the Persian Gulf War look like a dress rehearsal. There will be heavy casualties. Iraq will be hit hard. Casualties will be heavy – including civilians. There's no way around it.

This war will not just involve Iraq and the United States. Iran will be involved. Syria will be involved. Other Muslim states are likely to be involved. International terrorists will be unleashed from all corners of the earth.

And this war will also come home, my intelligence sources say. Suicide bombers are already here – just waiting for their orders to deploy hand-carried weapons of mass destruction in the United States. Israel and Europe will also be hit hard.

Yes, what I am describing sounds like World War III. That's what it will be. Sound like Armageddon? It may well be.

As I said, I'm not giving away any state secrets here. The U.S. government is making the necessary plans to fight this war – with one exception. It is not preparing to protect Americans from the destructive wrath of the coming attacks.

Therefore, it's up to Americans themselves to be as prepared as they can possibly be for the coming holocaust. We're on our own. The government is making plans for the continuity of government. It's up to us to ensure that there is a continuity of America, a continuity of our families, a continuity of life.

There are obvious reasons the government is not telling you what I am telling you. It would be devastating to the economy. People might panic. And, as I said, the government can't protect you – or won't.

Could I be wrong? Could my sources be wrong? I surely hope so. I sincerely and fervently pray they are wrong. But the threat is real. Things could get very ugly real fast.

And luckily, this would probably cause the RATS to sputter and squawk so wildly that the GOP would end up with a good twenty years of total control: White House, House, and Senate all overwhelmingly GOP.

So, the net result of devastating nuclear attack is two decades of that faggy Trent Lott, OldBob Dole, WimpII and Denny Hastert running the place?

If you're correct, I hope to hell the bombs get me, because you've described 20 years of followon hell. Surely we can do better than the Republicrats.

Of this, I have no doubt! The sticky part comes not from lack of faith in our current military men and women, but this force is too small to do the job that needs to be done. It's the future draftees that will decide the contest and my worry is that they will not be up to measure.

It's okay though, I've been wrong before. I only hope I'm wrong now...

Be well...

I can only second your wish, dear. You don't know enough ; you list BOBDOLE, who hasn't been in elected office for years. Even if you don't get taken out, we can all be soooooooo relieved to know, that such an intellect, as yourself, would rather die, than fight. How jolly, for you and us. ( snicker )

Sorry, but that's not my reading. Revelations is not the only book in The Bible that mentions the end times. Since the times have not ended yet, it's easy for a poor country boob like me to conclude that they are yet to come.

Be well...

", what I am describing sounds like World War III. That's what it will be. Sound like Armageddon? It may well be. "

America is not found in Bible prophecy. It is either because we've become part of the NWO or it will be because we've been destroyed as a nation. Sobering thoughts.

That Book as well as many parts of the various Epistles to ... ( fill in the blank, with each of them ) were written with the though that those WERE " the end times ". Each succeeding generation, used them, and other parts of the Bible, to claim that , yep, this was IT, this was the moment , this WAS the E-N-D ! That is historical fact.

I didn't call you an insulting name. I didn't put you down. All I did , was to state a proven fact. It isn't just endemic to Christianity; the Jews have done it for far longer ! BTW, even the Scriptures state that NO ONE , but GOD, knows when the " end times " will happen and to speculate upon them, is heresy / blasphemous.

Oba 1:4 Though thou exalt [thyself] as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

I find that verse wierd.

I feel exactly as you do. I've looked at this situation from many angles and can not find a positive outcome anywhere.

It is completely bizarre--everything seems to be falling perfectly into place; as if all these events had been previously scripted and planned, waiting to be played out like a bestselling novel, or an Academy award winning movie. Has anyone else shouted at the TV when they heard the ridiculous measures taken to fight this war? It's like shouting "Don't open that door!" during a horror movie. You know what's coming, how come the teenage victims in the haunted house don't? You know what needs to be done to fight this war and to protect our way of life...why don't the clowns in Washington?

The only answer that seems to make sense is that the "main players" in this drama are reading from a script; they must do what their roles dictate they do. They are sentenced by fate to make the glaring mistakes, or to save the day. They are the ones who, knowingly or unknowingly, pave the way for the next set of events to take place. Their actions would be completely and unbelievably obvious to the audience--if it was the TV movie of the week. But unfortunately this is the real deal, and we may just have to sit back and let fate take its course.

Actually, I believe it all was scripted and planned! But the story wasn't written by David Mamet, or directed by Cecil B. Demille. And you won't find it on the New York Times bestseller list or be able to rent it at Blockbuster. Do you want to know how it ends? The answer may be as close as your bookshelf or the drawer in the nightstand! It's a real "Revelation!"

America is not found in Bible prophecy.

I submit that if it were, we wouldn't recognize it anyway. Does anyone know what the Biblical euphemisms are for much of anything?

I also note that Israel is characterized as positively passive in terms of the prophetic view. Does anyone really think they will appear passive to a temporal observer?

If there is one thing I have become convinced of, it's that the Almighty always provides Himself with plausible deniability. I see no reason to believe that will not continue until just before the very end. As such, America would seem a reasonable choice as a temporal cause for some of the more dramatic actions on behalf of Israel in the latter days.

We (the U.S.) are become Rome! Our capitol looks like Rome. Our language is repleat with latin and greek. Our government is a republic with a senate. All roads (economic and cultural) lead to US. Who can withstand our legions? When the Bible speaks of Rome prophetically we are there! Without the Christians to restrain them, Americans will, indeed, elect themselves a Ceasar Democratus. The United States IS the new Roman Empire of prophesy. Pray for the coming of the Lord.

"Would you feel confident that the current generation could fight and win a war against the 1940 Germans, and Japanese? That generation was hardened by the depression and the dustbowl years."

And that generation .. as well as the previous ones .. were judged by our enemies to be weak-bodied, weak-willed, and too soft to face them in battle. Can you really name one war in which the United States has fought where our enemies didn't feel that we loved comfort too much, loved our money too much, loved ourselves too much to be worth worrying about, that we would allow ourselves to be slapped across the face and kicked around instead of standing and fighting back?

Both the Japanese and the Germans held the United States and its people in contempt for our "soft" way of life; neither thought that we would go the distance to fight them; nor did the Germans in the First World War; nor the British in 1812 or 1776; nor the Mexicans in 1846; nor even the Indians from the 1600's to the end of the 1800's. Even during the Civil War (War of Northern Aggression, War Between the States, etc, etc), both the North and the South, when viewing their opponents, believed that the other side relished money/the good life too much to be worthy opponents.

Sorry, but I feel that, should the need arise, the present generation will rise to the occasion, Nintendo or not ... and, in some instances, Nintendo-knowledge is just is what's needed for some portions of the Armed Forces. I retired seven years ago and still work on the largest military installation in the free world, Fort Hood, and I see these young soldiers, NCO's, and officers every day.

They say that history repeats itself. If radical Islam believes that America and its fighting forces are too soft, too weak-willed to fight back, they'll soon be introduced to 1941 all over again.

I am always semi-unhappy to hear fellow Americans repeat Nazi propaganda about how Americans are soft and decadent. It shows an acute lack of faith in their own country--and it speaks volumes about what kind of government they want.
