I wonder what Wimp Lott, Denny and W would do if the House and Senate were 100% Republican. Probably the same as now. They'd go out and get focus groups full of soccer moms, homosexuals and minorities to tell them what to do, while ignoring conservatives.

I don't know if this means anything but my neigbor is a navigator on an AWAC. He told us a couple of weeks ago that he will be going "overseas" for at least three months starting in late September. I asked him if that meant we were going after Iraq and he said that what little they have been told they can't repeat.

I feel pretty confident that a war against Iraq is coming soon. I just hope the author is wrong about Iraq's abilities to hit us back. Nevertheless, I think I will buy a few more rounds and stock up on some extra food and water.

I forgot to mention beer and cookies. I will definately be stocking up beer and cc cookies.

Seriously, it is strange how GWB hasn't seemed overly concerned about the economy or the upcoming elections IMO. His focus has seemed to be almost completely on terrorism and security and security forces (tips). He is either an airhead like the media wants us to believe or he know something we don't.

I agree with your line of thinking. A few years ago I read an article called "The Neverending End Times" and since then my contention has been that the ceaseless speculation about us being in the end times has effectively neutralized most Christians. That and the rapture theology as well as the IRS granted 501-C3 status most churches now have has removed modern day Christianity from the battle.

But I can't help myself from thinking that something major is around the corner, Be it another terrorist attack on U.S soil or what not... Anyone else with similiar thoughts and/or feelings?

Not since Iraq first invaded Kuwait. I got a bad feeling about the whole thing, then of course, Bush, Sr. started announcing that it was a New World Order, got the "assualt" weapon ban craze rolling, then Randy Weaver, then "Read my hips", then Waco...paving the way for eight hellish years of Bubba Nero.

Far from easy, but we'd be better off than we are now.

Incredibly easy. Nuke (neutron bomb preferably) the arab world and most of the islamikazis die. The living ones will be easy enough to shoot in the dark by their glow.

We have the technology to harvest the resources under radioactive conditions. We might as well solve the problem.

Of course we need to saturate their airwaves with the gospel for a week or two before so that they'll have a chnace to repent before the big bang hits.

That's because Revelations was talking about THAT time ! It was NOT a prophacy about a " future " time.

Obviously many of us disagree with you. The events of Revelations haven't happened yet but will happen soon.

All the more reason for every American to monitor every Islamic in their surroundings. Be ready.

The LAX shooter just "went off early". There are millions of "Trojan Horse Muslims" like him among us already.

Mohammed Atta was just a typical "moderate Muslim" until September 2001.

There are those who believe the CIA transmits to them through their fillings.

"The American Eagle is not mentioned. Not how could it be that the most powerful nation that has ever inhabited the planet is not involved in the largest battle ever."

Besides Israel, how many modern countries are mentioned in End Times prophecies? Oh, I know that annimals are often used in prophecy, but I don't know of many times when the name of a county is adjacent to the name of a beast, ie, "American Eagle", "Russian Bear", "British Lion", etc.

We could avoid this blood shed by deporting every single Muslim who is not a citizen, and keeping the rest of them under surveillance. We should have spies in every mosque and any imam who exhorts his congregation to violent crimes and/or trying to overthrow the government should be arrested and jailed, because neither of these are covered under the First Amendment and, indeed, both are against the law.

"America is not found in Bible prophecy. It is either because we've become part of the NWO or it will be because we've been destroyed as a nation. Sobering thoughts."

Neither is the New World Order. Like I asked "Wingy", can you name any modern countries (besides Israel) that are mentioned by name in End Times Prophecy? What happened to them? The point is the fact that the bible doesn't mention a country by name doesn't really prove much, does it?

brat-->America is not found in Bible prophecy.

Woahhs-->I submit that if it were, we wouldn't recognize it anyway. Does anyone know what the Biblical euphemisms are for much of anything?

Ezekiel 39:6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

The word translated isles is more commenly used as coasts meaning coastal regions. Well over 50% of the US population lives with 100Miles of the coasts. And compared to the rest of the world we do dwell rather carelessly.

Magog refers to the area just south of Moscow (if I remember correctly) Basically Russia.

So if we get into a nuclear shoving match with Russia, which could be precipitated by nuclear terrorist strikes against both of us, we'd be removed from the last battle.

(I have more info on this posted here. Let me get to my bookmarks and I'll link it)

Lastly most people (or at least a large number of people) in the US do not know Jesus as Lord. To them God is just some big Santa Claus in the sky who can be ignored until you need something.

God Save America (Please)

Islam is the enemy! Once we face that fact winning will be easy.

Iraqi ruling party - Baath is a SECULARIST party founded by a Christian Michael Aflaq. Read more about Baath Party

9/11 terrorists were no affiliated with Iraq, they were affiliated with Saudi Arabia. Bin Laden is not from Iraq, he is from Saudi Arabia. Taleban was not supported by Iraq, he was supported by Saudi Arabia (and at times by United States).

The main area of Iraqi troublemaking is support for the secular part of Palestinian movement. The main asset of Iraq is oil. Control of Iraq will strengthen American hand versus Saudi Arabia and Iran. This in tern will secure the contron of oil producing areas from Central Asia to the Middle East. If Venezuela is put in order, America will have upper hand versus Europe, euro will not be able to challenge dollar and the threat to the leading position will be postponed.

The main problem is that the conquest of Iraq is a very risky operation and that it will undermine secular movements in the Arab world versus Islamists.
