Woahhs-->I submit that if it were, we wouldn't recognize it anyway. Does anyone know what the Biblical euphemisms are for much of anything?
Ezekiel 39:6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
The word translated isles is more commenly used as coasts meaning coastal regions. Well over 50% of the US population lives with 100Miles of the coasts. And compared to the rest of the world we do dwell rather carelessly.
Magog refers to the area just south of Moscow (if I remember correctly) Basically Russia.
So if we get into a nuclear shoving match with Russia, which could be precipitated by nuclear terrorist strikes against both of us, we'd be removed from the last battle.
(I have more info on this posted here. Let me get to my bookmarks and I'll link it)
Lastly most people (or at least a large number of people) in the US do not know Jesus as Lord. To them God is just some big Santa Claus in the sky who can be ignored until you need something.
God Save America (Please)
This is an old thread so it's pretty big
Turns out that that's not the articale I was looking for. But it still has some good info. Post 97 is where the Ezk scripture is addressed.
