Tonight's FReep of the peaceniks in Fresno, CA was a blast! The first thing I want to say is "Chadsworth, you are a treasure. How we have missed you!" I didn't get any pictures of this fabulous FReeper in action, but I think a few others did. He stands alone, you guys. Nobody, not one person, who has the slightest inclination towards honking to show support for our cause gets by this man without hitting their horn. He begs, he pleads, he cajoles - and people who might normally just drive by honk for us!
We also really enjoyed having Chad'sworth's wife, Ladyinred, join us tonight for the first time. Thanks for coming and spending the evening with us, Lady!
It wasn't as hot tonight (97 degrees) as it was last Friday night (109 degrees), thank goodness! We counted eight peaceniks across the street from us tonight. We outnumbered them again with eleven FReepers and patriots.
I saw a peacenik holding up a new sign tonight. It said "Silence and ignorance aren't patriotic. Join us." The sure as heck can't be talking about us because we aren't ignorant and we certainly aren't silent. I was thinking that this sign might be one that we might use ourselves, except that we would never be as rude to those driving by as that.
Something a little different happened tonight. As I was holding up my sign on the corner of FReeper Island, a person driving by rolled down their window and threw his almost empty cup (which still had a little orange soda in it) at me. It bounced off of my sign. These people who oppose war aren't as peaceful as one would think, are they?
FReepers attending tonight were:
A big thanks to all who could be there tonight! To those who couldn't make it, we missed you and hope that you will be able to join us next week.
Bump.

Is anyone else having a problem with my link in post #59?
Since California is known for its bountiful harvest I recognize fruits and nuts when I see them. Now we all know that there is a huge squirrel population in the Fresno area. I do believe that squirrels eat both fruits and nuts when available. I started to suggest that we utilize the squirrel population from Fresno State, but their squirrels are acustom to liberal fruits and nuts, so that wouldn't work. We will have obtain them from a conservative location in the mountains.
Can you hear the news brief "Mysterious starving squirrels attack war protesters in Fresno, details at 11".
LOL!
Say, he must have taken a liking to you....
Mama_Bear said she didn't have any. : )
My dog likes to chase the squirrels up trees. Would you settle for some from Kansas? We are not exactly mountain country, but we are conservative.
He'll have to to keep up with her. LOL
You're looking mighty cute tonight. : )
Thank you for pinging me Amy.
Amy ,some reason I am not being pinged to the Fresno Freeps unless you Ping me. I love you Freepers so much!
I wish FallGuy and I could have been at the fabulous Rally you had on the 13th. But we had such a short time to be out of town and truly had to hustle up to Oregon to look around. I am so very sorry we could not make it.
Great pictures from it and I loved seeing those pictures too, plus these. Thank you again so much for pinging me Amy.
God bless FR and all of you Freepers.
We won't accept any squirrels into the state until proof is shown that they are true conservatives. We have enough liberal squirrels in California as it is.
