FR Current Events Project: Keeping Tabs on the Media's Attacks on Bush and the Republican Party
All Media Sources

I have honestly lost count of all the lies and distortions being thrown about in the press these last few weeks concerning Bush and his agenda, and the things going on in and around this country, especially concerning the government, the DOJ, and the Congress.
I would like to use this thread -- and you other Freepers -- to compile a COMPLETE THREAD of all the various errors we find in and among the articles we read on here and the news shows that we see daily on TV.
My thoughts are that if we get them all on one thread, maybe we can figure out what the heck is going on in this country and, more importantly in my opinion, WHO is doing it.
Please include the URL for the article or news report you will add to the list; if it is not from a thread on FR, please copy and paste the article, along with date, time, and source to this thread in order to preserve the information.
As always, be careful which newspapers/magazines you post full articles from.
I believe we are in a full frontal fight for the life of this country, the Supreme Court, and the things we believe in. We need to prepare ourselves to refute all the distortions being continually spewed over the airwaves and in the papers of this country.
Now, get to work!

Wow. Great idea. Can I be the "enforcer"?
To: Alas Babylon!
I suppose he also didn't mention how Harken energy's stock would later be double the value of when Bush sold, right?
To: Howlin
Indeed. Also look for reports in which what the media says may be technically correct, it may be worded and presented in a way designed to cause an observer to draw a false inference.

Great find! Livingston tied into Perot, then went to work for clintons and got the FBI files! Why am I not surprised.
This is fantastic!
We could do a whole thread of connecting the dots in this one!
To: ned
Bryon York has done more detailed reports on this subject than any others that I've seen going back to the primary in 2000. He did a NYT piece during the primary entitled "George's Road to Riches" which went into some detail but not near the amount he did here.

Want to bet with Livingston getting these FBI files that Perot has them too? Perot was heavily involved with computers and data transfer wasn't he with EDS the company he founded?
Now we know he was involved with Hillarycare, my guess is that his company help set up the WH computers that helped Livingston pull the FBI files.
This deal is getting smellier by the minute. Maybe we need a separate thread for Klayman and connect the dots!

WOW Howlin -- what a find!
Livington with Gore in 1988, he works for Perot in 1992, and ends up in the WH in 1993 and gets all the FBI files!
To: PhiKapMom; All
Klayman worked in DOJ for Carter -- I had always assumed the way they listed him during the clinton years that he was with the Reagan Administration. No mention was made that he was in DOJ for a RAT! Did you or anyone else here listen to Rush today??
I understand a caller made a comment that Carville was involved with this latest stunt with Larry Klayman and that the unions are helping in the funding ..
I wonder if it is true??

Documents Suggest Hillary Knew Craig Livingstone
WASHINGTON (AllPolitics, July 25) -- Though she's denied any involvement with hiring Craig Livingstone, some FBI documents suggest Hillary Clinton helped the former security office head get White House clearance, a congressman charged.

Say, if I remember correctly, way back on the early Guild threads, MM was also very curious about an elaborate database that #92 had set up in the new household in DC. Back when she first became a sinator.....

Amazing articles found here.
I'm sitting here astounded.
Livingstone is a key connection here to Klayman/Perot, (I'm convinced they're working together).

Great idea!
My blood pressue has already risen 25 points just reading what is already posted on this thread.
What is happening is so darn blatant, and I have been going ballistic at the media's obvious attempt to bring down the President and Cheney.
I am in!
To: PhiKapMom
I'm astonished this guy, (Livingstone), is still alive...

That is correct. She had a computer installed and remember how she had all that remodeling done but no one knew what it was for? I still would like to know what she had installed...and why NO ONE has seen the inside of that house. As I understand it fundraiser guests are ushered through the hall to a tent in the back yard.
To: Mo1
I didn't listen today but I am getting more convinced that Klayman and Carville go way back.
Thinking back when Carville was on TV following a Klayman deposition, he didn't seem to be that upset and was willing to talk to Klayman without raising a fuss. Why? That's not like Carville!
