Under the First Amendment, anyone is free to exercise practically any religious belief they choose; they may not use the power of Government to impose it on anyone else. What's so complicated about the concept??
. . .civil and criminal judicial proceedings and Federal courts and judges . .. issues relating to bankruptcy, espionage, terrorism, the protection of civil liberties, constitutional amendments, immigration and naturalization, interstate compacts, claims against the United States, national penitentiaries, Presidential succession, antitrust law, revision and codification of the statutes of the United States, state and territorial boundary lines and patents, copyrights and trademarks.

We are now in the time of crisis, when everything happening has great
impact on the future. The election of GWB, 9-11, and whatever comes next; the history of the 21stcentury is being decided now.
Now everything is in flux. Now the lines are being drawn. .
Jim, you are right: Now, we are on one side or the other.
Today's Republican leadership doesn't have the stomach to do what it will take to keep the country strong. They're too busy arguing with the same faulty premises that Democrats are. A lite-socialism. Seemingly impotent the lot of them--can you say political viagra.
Because our current Republican leaders constantly and consistently fail to stand on principle we now have a situation where the guy that offer's the biggest gov't check wins the day...period. And this beast's increasing appetite grows by what it feeds on.
The funny thing is: the harder it gets for the average Joe to feed his family, pay for healthcare, etc., (a direct result of huge gov't and tax-greed) the easier it will be for the left to bait him with an "easy" solution--effectively a socialist "panacea".
We've gone so far down that road already that I fear nothing will be done. Not that something can't be done--it simply won't be done.
Today's "right-wing" leader is merely a lesser Democrat: the farm bill, steel, education, gov't growth, social security, campaign finance, immigration, the "patriot" act, etc.
It's easy to be a democrat. Your focus is to steal wealth, attack the producers, feed on the host--certainly not to create anything. Hell, why create when all the work is being done for you? It's criminal to rob your neighbor. So hire a democrat to do the job for you.
It's much more difficult to be the host. Especially when you're ridden with guilt: white guilt, success guilt, wealthy guilt, talent guilt, etc.. When the host is sick on his own its easy for parasites to cling.
What else do they want us to worship then? Them? Their findings? Someone's interpretationi of the natural world's wish?
NO THESE PEOPLE ARE UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND SHOULD GO TO JAIL FOR SUBVERTING THE US GOVERNMENT AND INSTITUTING THEIR OWN FINDINGS AS TO BE WORSHIPED
What are the AMerican liberals thinking? This is calling for self-worshiping tyranny aka NorthKorea, China and what not.
Hopefully, we'll grow some big ones and do something this time! I will.

Francis Bellamy (1855-1931) wrote the Pledge of Allegiance for the observance of the 400th Anniversary of the discovery of America by Columbus. Since 1891, he had been working on a journal for juveniles entitled, Youths Companion. He worked closely with James B. Upham, the editor of the paper.
Bellamys job on the paper was to promote patriotism and the flying of the flag over the public schools. He was made chairman of the executive committee for the national public school celebration of Columbus Day in 1892.
Bellamy visited President Benjamin Harrison to ask him to endorse the idea of a flag over every schoolhouse and the teaching of patriotism in all the schools. On June 21, 1892, President Harrison signed the proclamation that said, Let the national flag float on every schoolhouse in the country and the exercises be such as shall impress upon our youth the patriotic duties of American citizenship!
Francis Bellamy wrote these now famous words, first printed in Youths Companion. September 8, 1892:
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
At the Second National Flag Conference held in Washington, D.C., on Flag Day, 1924, they added the words, of America.
A further change was made in the Pledge by House Joint Resolution 243, approved by President Eisenhower on June 14, 1954, which added the words, under God, so that it now reads:
one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
The best way we can help is to inform people just how liberal judges are and how liberal the ABA is. I heard an old America's Voice program years ago, because the former president of the ABA was on. He said that Clinton was the geatest president in US history.
And that clown was supposed to say who the President is allowed to appoint? No wonder our court system is messed up.
Our problem is spiritual, not political. The answer is found in all of us returning to a Bible Based Christianity.
We have reached a time in our country that we have never been in probably, one where the immoral outnumber the moral. We would have leaders that honored God if the people honored God. Something as simple as the repitition of a phrase like the PLEDGE OF ALLIEGENCE becoming illegal in our nation, that is only a symptom of the greater problem, and that problem is that we as a nation are not the Christians we fool ourselves into thinking we are.
That is our true reality, that is what we must wake up to. Our fate is in God's hands. That is where we need to turn.
Solomon was referring to arrogant pride. This is clearly it. The liberal courts messed up. I forsee the very outrage you are hoping for.
Perhaps the courts should take 'God' out of the Constitution? Any reference from God could be removed? Wouldn't that be an interesting idea. And it makes about as much sense.
