President Bush and First Lady Laura hosted the first ever Presidential Fitness Challenge today in Washington. The President and White House staff participated in a three-mile run, while Laura joined the mile walk. Bush finished 26th with a personal best time of 20:29. After finishing the race, the President said he 'felt great.' Tomorrow, the Presidential fitness weekend will continue with another game of tee ball at the White House. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: It's important for those of us in the White House to live how we talk. If we're going to say we're going to live a healthy life, let's do it. If we say we care about a neighbor in need, if we want to love a neighbor like we'd like to be loved ourselves, let's show it through our actions.

Hey all!
I need some ideas. One of my best friends is being sworn in as an American on July 4th (she's from Canada and has been here for 25 years.) I'd like to get her something special, something that makes her 'one of us.' LOL. She is already pretty patriotic and has flags and such. So, if you have any ideas, let me know!
I'm already putting togeher a CD of songs with an American/USA theme to play at the 4th of July party...

Aw com'on now, Howlin. You know darn well the Constitution says that the president HAS to exercise (his rights) and that he can't be president unless he runs (for office).
