There has to be a better man to fill the position.

I believe we all asked you the other night exactly WHO it would be, and your response was you were waiting to see who you church decided would be the right person to vote.

Pardon me if I don't take your posts very seriously. You're all negative, nothing positive.

Rd posted this rather visual statement: Maybe Christy is being fitted for a stake this afternoon.

Suddenly, I'm not too hungry for my lunch.

AmishDude, I only quoted from the report. I'm leaving it up to the reader to interpret the words. But it seems clear to *me* that he ordered the report.

Please don't ask me what was going on in Bush's head. I suggest reading at least the introduction of the report, because it has lots of quotes from Bush about the subject of environment which you might find interesting.

And it should be noted that this report was completed by under the Clinton administration and by his people.

Just wanted to bump this! The absence of people on here checking out facts before bashing is astounding on a website that is supposed to be made up of people who are politically aware. Not to mention Rush who bashed the NY Times in the past but now uses it for his source!

O'Reilly got it right, irregardless of whether or not he agrees with the President, when he reported it. Rush didn't.

All you who defended the EPA report are the opposite.

I don't recall many people defending that EPA report; you, of course, may have another interpretation.

What I saw were people upset that the NYT had taken quotes and put them in the worst possibly light, and Rush went right along with it.

LOL!!!!!!!!! It doesn't get any better than this! Limbaugh should have known better than to to use the NY Times as his source. Pretty soon his credibility will be right there with Drudge!

Sure. Get rid of right wing radio. I suppose you'll be voting for a Democrat in 2004?

How dare you use your own head and ask honest questions? You must want Al Gore in the White House!

Actually I would rather see all the posts from the neocons, commenting on how global warming may be real after all, and maybe we should be taking a better look at it now

I have read a number of posts since yesterday and I don't recall one along the lines you claim. please provide some references to support your point of view. we have always had a handfull of folks who claim global warming exists but none that I recall the man is responsible or man can reverse it.

But you may not want to argue this point either.

"Amazing how many freepers were quick to dis Bush!" That's part of it. The other part is, "Amazing how many freepers were quick to accept media accounts/interpretations of Bush's announcement."

Let's be honest and fair here, Bush has justly earned his doubting Thomases! He did it to himself and only those who've been living under a rock, or those to whom winning trumps principle (which forces the question "Winning what?") would not base their judgement on what he says TODAY...because yesterday means little to him.

Still, I am happy to hear his reply.

#404 directly contradicts you. But let us even assume that isn't true, what do you think happens here? You think he ordered this thing last week on his own initiative? Last month? A year ago? It's fairly clear that they took the report and reworked it so that they could at least have something they could explain.

Oh, and #2 is saying "allow science that contradicts the garbage that's in this report."

Yes, it is hard to hear people bash Bush and not take time to breathe....sometimes I wonder if their real object is to be disruptive?

I admit I have been holding my breath a few times lately. I try to consider the source...and yesterday that was my method of finding a delay in allowing a judgement of the "bureaucratic report".

I think there may be some fall-out from this action. If someone took advantage of the reporting process....I hope Bush removes them from their job, no matter how high or visible, they might be.

This is from the Rush Limbaugh website today. Wonder how long it will remain there.

Using the logic from this very thread, Rush IS responsible for that statement since HE let it be posted on his web site, right? HOLD HIS FEET TO THE FIRE!! :-)

I think its been determined that its a report that is due every three years and that it was mostly written under the Clinton administration. Whitman tried to delay its release as long as she could and then finally felt she had to comply with the law and so it was released. I think I'll look at it and see if there are any dates in any of it anywhere.

I still don't get how Rush got so sloppy?

I used to think that Rush was a political analyst who was entertaining. Now I believe he is an entertainer who has an interest in politics. IMO, that's the only way to explain what he's been doing. He wants controversy. He wants an audience.

Unfortunately for him, unless he realizes what he's really done, and does some serious backtracking, he's going to lose a large piece of his most loyal listeners.

Lee Rodgers got the Grampa Dave off button before Rusk Klimball did.

I just hope that my every two year to be a radio listerner auditor comes up again in July/Aug with a very key audience measuring group. You record what stations you listened to for 7 days broken down by 15 minutes. If you don't listen, you write down the reasons why. About 20 days after my last audit was sent in a lot of Bush Bashers got moved to past midnight or off the air.

The magic word, if the station owners/board think that I listen to this Bravo Sierra then they have a real reality problem.
