Let's be honest and fair here, Bush has justly earned his doubting Thomases! He did it to himself and only those who've been living under a rock, or those to whom winning trumps principle (which forces the question "Winning what?") would not base their judgement on what he says TODAY...because yesterday means little to him.

Bush hasn't changed a thing he has ever said on this subject. It's members of the press with their own agendas that have twisted and distorted his positions on every issue in order to inflame the Left and disspirit the conservative base.
Yesterday's phrase was "flip-flop". There was none. The bashers lose (again).
