President Bush and First Lady Laura headed to the United States Military Academy at West Point to give the Commencement Speech. In this bicentennial graduation, Bush told West Point graduates that they must protect and preserve American freedom at a time when terrorism puts it in jeopardy. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Many years ago I worked with a lady who had 3 little ones. The sibling rivalry was intense. One of her kiddos came running to her with tears in his eyes saying, "Bobby's calling me names!". My friend asked what kind of names were being called. The little boy looked at his mother in disbelief and said, "Names!"
For Grammie's benefit...cuz she's slow...I'll explain that Bobby was calling his little brother *names*. The mother always stressed *not to call each other **names** *. Get it, Grammie? LOL

No one has to tell! Ashcroft is watching us you know! He is into our personal computers you see, just pretending that is all about fighting terrorism! He just is a nosy ole luker who wants to see what all of us are up to out here!
Hope he likes the recipe and he is going to tell the President that Rintense said he was stepping over dog poo !
LOL!

Thanks for all these neat pics, rintense! It just occurred to me as I saw the female graduate that we have some friends whose daughter Chrissy graduated from West Point this year! She was in my oldest son's class in middle school, then she went to the girls' high school and he to the boys' high school. Her older brother graduated from the AF Academy last year, and her younger brother was just accepted at the Naval Academy. Their dad is an Army Vietnam vet and a great guy, their mom is a psychologist and a neat lady. I'll have to call them in a couple of weeks to see how they liked the ceremony!!

Because Reagan, like Bush knew he was President of all of the people, not just the liberals and socialists like Clinton! That is the difference! And it is good!

**Even IF Mama has to appear, it's a great place, and I deeply thank you. **

Where's the kick in this recipe?! I see 3 T of green chilies...which are mild. Wherrrrrrre's the kick?

Can you buy Ro-tel brand canned tomatoes and chiles where you are? They are a Texas staple, but not sure if they are distributed nationally. I buy them all of the time in California, and I think they sell them everywhere. I see them on the Food network from NY.

Trust me I can't cook .. some one gave me a recipe .. you know one of those kinds that don't come in a box ..
Well I went to the store and bought all the stuff I needed ..
Well the first batch WAS suppose to fit into 3 baking pans .. mine fit into one .. turned out I forgot to put in the milk .. LOL
OK .. second try .. I mix all the stuff .. pour into 3 pans .. stick in the oven .. and NOTHING .. it baked and it baked and NOTHING
Thank Goodness for instant messages .. I IM a friend and found out about "Self Rising Flour" .. never heard of that before ... LOL
Ok .. now we on batch number 3 .. mix it all up .. pour it into 3 pans .. put in oven .. and it's baking .. looking really good .. but I had to get the baby so I turned off the oven a little early thinking it wouldn't over bake the cake .... WRONG
But it wasn't toooooooo bad .. I thought .. ok I'll just put this homemade icing on the cake and no one would be able to tell .. WRONG
And worse ... no one would believe me when I tried to tell just how bad this thing looked so I took a picture to show everyone ..
So long story short .. I can't cook .. lol

Oh good GRIEF! Why didn't you tell me earlier that John Ashcroft, etal, are watching me? Do you have any IDEA how messy this house is??????
To: homeschool mama
You two are pitiful. You get *nothing* for being first. Sheesh. What do I get for being last, and off topic because I am working on page one, while all of you are on page 2 or 3?:)

Hmmm...I'm a former caterer and have held cooking classes in my home. How 'bout we have a Bush Babe cooking school one weekend at my house?
