My sister-in-law (wife's sister) was diagnosed with a brain tumor early this morning after having a seizure and vomiting blood. She had no other prior symptoms. They are going to do an MRI this morning to get further informaiton. To make it worse, today is her daughters 13th birthday.

Please keep them in your prayers.

Excellent advice about the percentage. My wife took the number hard. We all expected a higher number but with zero basis for why.

It's only logical to assume "more [of a resection] is better". I was pretty devastated to hear a lower number myself, mainly because I'd already read so many reports indicating one of the factors contributing to a good prognosis was a "gross total resection". Eventually I came to the realization that I couldn't change the past, what's done is done. I had to deal with where I am now. Take it day by day. Moment by moment. There will be many good days, but there will also probably be some bad days. Anne and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers. Joe (MCM)
