My sister was diagnosed with a rare lung disease on Friday, Interstatial Lung Disease. The prognosis is terminal. She is only 29 and in otherwise good health.
Appearantly, an infection, the nature of which is unknown, is producing a constant state of pneumonia. Since the doctors don't know the nature of the infection, they can not stop it. It is causing scar tissue to form all throughout the lungs. Scar tissue isn't very elastic and will not permit oxygen to travel from the lungs to the blood.
End result is that the doctor said in 1 to 2 years she will suffocate.
Requesting prayers for her and any medical info that could be of help/leads in stopping this infection before it ruins the remaining lung tissue.
Thank you so much for your prayer, I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Just so you know (it won't make any difference to God, he already knows), I'm a "her". And I'm keeping a lookout for anything that I may come across that could help your sister. Bless you both.
Amen,........More Grace and Mercy,.........In Jesus' Precious Name, Amen!!!
This is a request from long ago. Sarah, my sister whom you all graciously prayed for in the past, has been hospitalized all this time and now is weary of the fight. She can't get breath and has been on a ventilator for months. She is having panic attacks when she can't get enough breath and now just wants to go home. I leave tonight, with my brother and his wife, to drive out there and join my mother who has been with Sarah most of this time. We believe Sarah will be requesting that her life support systems be turned off. She will probably be heavily saddated (sp?) and then the ventilator will be turned off as we all stay with her as she steps through the door to the Lord's Kingdom.
I request final prayers for Sarah that she does the Lord's will, that she be given strength, faith and joy in Him. That we, her family and husband be granted the same. Thank you all in advance I and I will reply to each and every one of you for your saint's prayers. God Bless you all and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

May God grant you the strength to be with her through her final journey, and may He comfort you afterwards.
