Sue The Democrats For Reparations ...
Vanity | Today | MAKnight

Posted on 05/08/2002 5:37:28 PM PDT by MAKnight

Any black conservatives here willing to try something that would throw the Left into major turmoil? Sue the Democrat Party for Reparations! They're a hundred times more responsible for Jim Crow and all those other horrors than any of the companies being sued now! The media would start souring on the idea almost immediately ... and Jesse would be tying himself in knots trying to get the 'Rats off the hook in the black community. He'll no doubt try the canard that the Dixiecrats are all Republicans now but that's provable bullsh*t ... and that would come out in court ... if it gets that far. ;)

"Nobody who votes for Daschle as Senate Majority Leader or Gephardt for Speaker of the House can EVER call themselves conservative, IMHO."

"Conservative"???
Couldn't call themselves human, *IMO*. {g}

"BTW...most of them Yankee Republicans are nuthin' but RINOs anyway."

...yup; useless as a pair of rubber crutches.

Basing opinion of someone's political views on ONE SINGLE VOTE is an act of supidity on your part.

This could be huge, AND will extinguish this reparation fire.

Or possibly spread it further.

Your website is excellent.
I for one believe that the GOP can some day break the stranglehold that the dems have on the black voters.

Of course this is only conjecture, but suppose you have people like yourself go thru with this lawsuit against the democrats.
Being the 'compassionate' folks they are, they don't object or fight it. What they do is call on their wealthy allies, (people like Bill Gates & those corp.'s that succumbed to Jesse Jackson's tactics), and pay up.

Now then, they aren't going to stop there. Because in the liberal mind, it's the 'evil' Republicans, especially the Conservatives, who are really responsible for the plight of the blacks.
And these Republicans will not be let off the hook. It will now be the dems, assuming a 'moral highground' who say, "OK, even though we are innocent of any wrong doing, we magnaminously paid up. Now it's time to go after the real scoundrels...the Republicans!"

They stir up public sentiment to their 'new' cause, (remember, the facts are irrelevant to them), corral all democrat politicians together until 'justice' is served, and pass something like a 'Reparations Redemption Act' in the U.S. Congress.

To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me to see them make this a major issue before 2004. With our nation's 'first black president' & Hillary standing at it's forefront.

Au contraire, Monsier Jesup...the Left's Vile Coalition fer Collectivist/Federal Solutions depends upon their controlling the Federal Legislature, the Font of all Federal Spending Largesse. Daschle--and his Socialist Hand-Puppet, Sen. Leahy--has demonstrated himself to be an Obstructionist Anti-American by disallowing qualified Judicial appointees to take their chairs in a time wherein the courts promise to be packed in fighting for Justice Against International Terrorism!! Those who vote for someone like Daschle and Gephardt to lead them on such a selfish Jihad against American Interests are fooling themselves--and their constituents--if the think they are doing The Right Thing!!

Partisanship lives, and the RATS are on the WRONG side of the issues!!

It depends on who you vote for my good friend...a vote for Daschle, Gephardt, Leahy, Sanders or any of those socialist clowns is a vote that is unAmerican....They are obstructing any good that can be done in this country, and they know it! A good example is the issue of our oil dependency on the Arab countries...we could be independent...but Dashole and his cohort Gephardt or busy playing phony games...so they can collect the real big bucks from the environmentalist wackos...

Yep...that makes DemonRATS (all of them) anti-Justice and anti-Energy Independence, two good characteristics helpful in explaining a candidate's anti-Americanism. Add to that, the Left's Ardent Anti-Capitalism, and I say the Right's got a strong case to make in November if they don't wimp out and plead fer consensus.

This makes absolutely no sense. By the way, you're not alone in this, but what is up with the use of a definite article to modify the word "blacks?" I don't get it.

Anyway, using strict political names, Democrats are responsible for slavery, not Republicans. Democrats can not say that "we are innocent of any wrongdoing." Sheriff Bull Connor was not a Republican. Dixiecrats were responsible for Jim Crow, not Republicans. But going back to slavery, look at which party represented the South during those times. It's overwhelmingly Democrat.

This issue must be killed, and killed now. It has already gained too much momentum.

If I refer to a group of folks from Ireland I'd say "the Irish". There's really nothing 'to get', it's just the way I talk, hence, the way I type.

Anyway, using strict political names, Democrats are responsible for slavery, not Republicans. Democrats can not say that "we are innocent of any wrongdoing."

Oh? They can't? Tell that to the Clintons.

And the dems may very well admit that they were 'wrong'. It's part of their 'compassionate' mindset. But I damn well guarantee you they wouldn't let Republicans escape without an even larger 'penalty'.

And as I said, this is only conjecture on my part. The idea of suing the dems may very well work as you intend it.
Just don't expect the liberals to not retaliate.

Mud, that's asking for a lot, since the Right seems to be wimping out on every important issue these days.
