Unfortunately, I believe that, too - but why is his opinion on this matter regarded above mine?
To: Senator Pardek
I guess this means I'll have to call Warren before I take a shower..

Does the sage say when and where?

He's right. THEN we may begin to get serious about this war on terrorism. We fight the war in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.., THEY fight it here. It's a shame klinton's legacy will actually haunt Bush. Oh well, at least we had a good 226 years...

So where was the sage on 9/10?
To: CreekerFreeper
I think that it is a very real possibility in the next two years.

Apparently Ozzy Osbourne is a bigger story than the USA blowing up (at least according to DRUDGE).

ditto on that. it's stupid.

Buffett has long worried about the spread of nuclear weapons. He said years ago that preventing nuclear war would be one of the goals of the Buffett Foundation, the charitable organization that stands to inherit his multibillion-dollar fortune.

More gaseous emissions from the Whoracle of Whomaha. Too bad he can't use all that money to buy himself a clue.

Does the sage say when and where? Think Shakespeare's monkeys. It's the Jean Dixon syndrome: make a vague enough prediction and if it comes true in your lifetime, you're a seer. If you die first, you'll eventually become a seer posthumously.
To: CreekerFreeper
So is this thing going to happen in our lifetimes?
To: Captainpaintball
It's a shame klinton's legacy will actually haunt Bush...Klinton's legacy will haunt us for well into my children's lifetime.
But I wish our president now would act with greater seriousness about the threat we face from terorism within. We are still issuing visas to the countries on the terrorist watch list. Why ?
The "special relation" we have with the Saudis is the reason why. We can't hurt their feelings or those of their Arab brothers.

Warren Buffett: Nuke Attack in USA 'Virtual Certainty' Sun May 05 2002 22:11:15 ET A nuclear terrorist attack is a virtual certainty in America, but it is impossible to predict when it would happen, billionaire investor Warren Buffett said Sunday, according to ASSOCIATED PRESS reports.
Envy and dislike of the United States has fueled a rage against the country even as the ability to build a nuclear device has spread, Buffett said at a 2{ hour news conference held as part of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.'s annual meeting.
"We're going to have something in the way of a major nuclear event in this country," Buffett said.
"It will happen," he said. "Whether it will happen in 10 years or 10 minutes, or 50 years...it's virtually a certainty."
Washington and New York would be the top two targets because terrorists want to traumatize the country or kill as many people as possible, Buffett said.
Chemical or biological attacks are similarly high risks, Buffett said.
