Anyone elses thoughts?

Nightline is not on yet on the West Coast, but thanks for the warning. I will make sure to miss it, because I would go ballistic!
I detest the media that allows this hatred to spew out of his mouth almost as much as I detest Arafat!
Can you imagine if someone else was saying all of this? It would be considered a hate crime, yet the media protects this scum, and he gets the Nobel Peace prize!

Did koppel forget to tell arafat he was jewish?
To: stuck_in_new_orleans
He does sputter. And there is something about his eyes that causes me to cringe. I know it isn't cool to say this, but truth is, when I watch arafat speaking I imagine the feeling I get is akin to watching pure evil, a demon in action.

Hello! Just watching nightline is sickening. So what's new?

Arafat...
Now that he is out...the terror is just beginning.

I don't like Koppel, but I think it's great he let Arafat rave on. In fact, watching this lunatic several times this afternoon and evening made my day.
At last, the American people were able to see a real madman up close and personal, thanks to the lib TV hosts, who, I'm sure, thought they were doing the Pig-eyed Pali a favor.

Arafat has never before been exposed for the nutbag he is. In the past Arafat was always given a place at the table with no pre conditions. Now Arafat has been reduced to the criminal he is and he is being shown in the light he deserves.
Arafat can spew all he wants, but the facts are now in the light of day, he is no longer being treated with respect, in fact he has been told he has to prove himself before he gets an ounce of respect. Arafat has never been lower. He is at the end of his rope and we will see what he does with it.... TIME WILL TELL

Brit Hume showed some of the interview, but I had it on mute.....but the picture was worth a thousand words - only exposing him for what he is - a monster!

Then, at the end Arafat pulls some kid onto his lap and kisses her on the cheek. Koppel seems a bit weirded out. Maybe he thought the kid would explode.

"Is this acceptable? I ask you, is this acceptable?" If he were not a homicidal maniac, he would be funny.

Arafat is a drug addict and undergoing some serious withdrawals. I think he may also have a neurological problem. Didn't some Senator or Rep who's a doctor say so last week?

It could be that Koppel was just letting Arafat cook his own goose. Letting him go on in his demented state gave everyone good insight into the crazed state of Palestinian "leadership."

The libs in the media would throw one of their neighbors' kids to this queer in a hearbeat. Bet on it.

Looks like the living dead, or some arab goth deal.
Whatever the case, Arafat isn't playing with a full deck. If he is a reflection of the Pallies, things are going to be grim for a long time.

Why is Yassar Arafat misleading the world. His concern for the Church of the Nativity, isn't real. He isn't fooling anyone.
Many different things have taken place during the last 35 years in the ME and many different people have been elected to lead the US and Israel, in that time period. But one thing has remained the same, Yasser Arafat still leads the Palastinian Authority. Arafat has always been a terrorist. Let's see how long, it will take, for him and his henchmen, to destroy this latest effort by the newest American President, to bring peace to the ME. May be Arafat will surprise the world. But I wouldn't bet on it.

They brought that adorable little girl to him and he kept kissing her between his ravings. It was disgusting and phony. Ted just let him rant on. I had to laugh at one point when Arafat says, "Where to go? I go to the street to sleep?". Ted mumbles something about he could come stay with him at the King David Hotel! You are talking to General Yasser Arafat!
Ted did ask who the little girl was. It sounded like she was the daughter of one of the guards.

Just now watching it..
What can we do with a drunken sailor,
What should we do with a drunken sailor,
What can we do with a drunken sailor,
Ear'lye in the morning....
(Loosely, an old Irish tune, with all apologies to Navy vets out there)
This guy is borderline incoherent. You'd think he'd have learned English a little better than he has, considering how much he relies on the West to spew his lies. He shouldn't show up for press conferences half-drunk or -stoned either..his eyes look like two hot coals.
