Sleep well, my friend =^) And I'll try not to disturb you..hehe
To: all
I am reposting this from another thread: Guys, I dont know if all the people on this forum can see this message, but I will say this to people who will read it: THANK YOU. I am Israeli, a reservist in Air Force, and I am amased at the overwhelming support that people on this forum display for my country. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. USA is a wonderful country, the only true friend and ally Israel has, and it warms my heart to see all the fine people here that show support to our troops, that as of this moment fight the very murderers that killed our women and children on the streets of our cities. Perhaps, with US aid, and after our forces clear the last hideout of terrorists in West Bank, a new leadership will emerge among arabs, that does not seek to destroy us but to coexist peacefully. I dont know whether it will ever happen, but I do know, that we are brothers, and that we can count on you in time of need, as well as you can count on our support in your war on Al-Qaeda murderers. My heart bled and cried for justice when I saw the events of 9.11 on CNN. A year before that terrible tragedy I was standing on the roof of one of the Twins, observing the magestic view of New-York during my trip to USA, to visit my wife's family. The thought that this beautiful city is now scarred by animals in human form made me furious. May your troops have the upper hand in this war, and may they safely return home as victors. USA RULES. From Haifa, with best regards and warm wishes. Shalom! Hamash.

Morning, Ma'am! Have a great one ......

This movie, "No Time for Sergeants" is
one of the funniest movies I have
EVER seen!
Andy Griffith's character was PRICELESS, and he played it as only he could. Funny how those two kids were intent to serve in the INFANTRY, where today's recruiting schemes almost never mention the job that is the key element of any military organization!
I laugh so hard EVERY time I see it!

Shalom! Hamash!
As goes Israel, so goes Judeo-Christian ["Human," that is] Civilization!
You'd better believe it: We are with you, Bro'!
And we will see Israel rid God's Mountains of the blasphemy that presently pollutes and corrupts them.
Be strong -- Shalom! Shalom!

Thank you for your kind words of friendship. I am sorry you must depend on CNN for your news, and I hope that you will have access to Fox News Channel soon. Be safe.

*from the really big bundle of nerves that is Severa the Navy wife* These next few hours aren't gonna pass quickly enough that's for damned sure! And the kids see how I've been lately cause they didn't get to sleep till around 11 last night! But the highlight of the night had to be when I was talking to my mom and she finally got to hear my oldest son sing his ABCs (he was jumping on my bed at the time but it was still clear enough for her to understand).

I have a few favorite movies for this list, I would be interested if someone could poster the movie posters for these.
Patton (A better role model for the American way IMHO)
Soldier (OK it's Kurt Russel, but it shows that superior technolgy and training will never beat true warrior spirit)
Heartbreak Ridge (Yes it's cheesy but Eastwood is a damn good Marine and I would
NOT want to meet him in a dark alley
Full Metal Jacket (I do not think I have ever seen a movie that demonstrates "war is hell" as well until my next choice on the list came out)
Blackhawk Down (Tell any of our guys in Somalia they "lost" that battle and I don't expect you'll come away with all your teeth and internal organs in tact)
Pearl Harbor (Yes it is a very bad movie, which is why I waited until it came on DVD to see it in order to get past all the crap love scenes. Despite historical inaccuracies, it has a well filmed attack seen that blew me away when I saw it. Hopefully it is the last ANYTHING I will have to endure with Alec Baldwin in it)
Enemy at the Gates (I am torn on this, it's an excellent duel film. I am not sure how I like the "heroic Stalinist Russia" angle, but the battle scenes were good, and it seemed like the feelings portrayed rang true, plus Ed Harris is just about my favorite actor)
Glory (very good all around, this should have won more oscars, Morgan Freeman was excellet)
Courage Under Fire (an excellent story about the Gulf War, and a tale of what heroism, cowardice and the truth
Well, anyway, those are my favorite war flicks

"The Bridge on the River Kwai" was gonna be my nomination. You stole my thunder. LOL I loved that movie when I was a kid. (whistling the tune as I type)

Thank you for sharing those pictures with us. Logan is a beautiful boy. What is on his father-in-laws jacket? (My glasses are broke).

I hope you make it through your day. Take a 15 minute power nap and remember to take deep breaths. :)

*LOL* You're gonna hate me when I say this:
Years ago a friend of mine and my hubby's made us a VHS tape of the following: Holy Grail, Meaning of Life, Life of Brian, Live at the Hollywood Bowl, and a whole slew of Flying Circus episodes. *S* One of our most treasured tapes in our whole collection.
