Teenage son of my friend is missing since 11/26/2001. He is 15 years old and is from Salina, Kansas. Before he disappeared, he told his friends that he was going to Topeka, Kansas. Because the boy is of an age where he can take care of himself, the PD has already told the parents that they have to do most of the leg work in this case. The parents are devastated and are looking into all possible sources for help. That is the reason for this post.
The flyer that is being circulated in her local area is posted below. It has a picture of the boy. I would appreciate if people living in and around that parts of the country, can print it out and post it in their neighborhood. The Mom of this boy, registered today and she goes by the FReeper name "Lyrica". You can ping her for more info here or via freeper mail.
I thank everyone for your help. If you do not have any information, please pass this information across to anyone who might be able to help. Thanks once again.
Thank you for pinging me about this so we can all pull together and pray.
Coast alert.
Prayer bump.
My college senior put an inside joke on instant message--which I didn't understand, and which I interpreted as an alarm by his roommate that he wasn't back from Thanksgiving break. We called Security at the college, and it was resolved in a couple of hours--but gracious! What a worry!
God will sustain and relieve you.
Our youngest daughter ran away almost 3 months ago, same story from the local police. I suggest 2 things: Call the Kansas Bureau of Investigations, and leave messages for their son with the National Runaway Switchboard 1-800-621-4000.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigations has been very supportive and helpful to us. These state level agencies have access to methods of tracking your son that the local police either don't or won't use. They also may know private investigators that might help in your search.
The National Runaway Switchboard will encourage your son to contact you, and can arrange for a free ride home.
My prayers for a quick resolution...
Wish I could help. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the boy and his family.
