Fox news is getting ready to report on our military arsenal. Just this past weekend, an Iraqi in Kuwait was arrested for spying. He apparently was sending information about our military to Iraqui generals. How different is his behavior from that of the news media that daily reports on our troop movements and our weaponry?

Thanks for reposting this, no matter how many times, and a great big thanks to the Moderators who have been so diligent for all Americans, and especially our servicemen.

The B-58 Hustler was one of the coolest planes ever. Four engines, supersonic, and an external weapons bay that could carry nukes. Certainly the submarine launches were tricky but no worse than the B-3s in Albania

A lot of military information is in the public domain. For example, Reserve and Guard call-ups are legitimate topics as these are public announcements. That's why the FR system of citing sources is a good one. All public domain information is readily identified.
By the way, did you know "Loose lips sink ships" was part of a propaganda campaign to put the blame for u-boat attacks on "loose lips" instead of abysmally bad coastal defense and ASW?

When I asked my 3 year old niece where her daddy is (he's in the Navy), she pointed to a picture of a Spanish Galleon on a globe in the ocean near the place where he initially told us he'd be. We showed her where the country was, and her response was "My daddy is on THIS ship".

Thanks for reposting this! Kind of gave me a pulse when I saw the title though and then I cliked on the link!
The words are as true today as when they were written. Noticed the press today that are in the Gulf are being extra cautious on what they are reporting which has been refreshing. Not to mention hearing the press report what "President" Bush is doing instead of "Mr." Bush!
By and large I have thought the coverage of the impending War to Liberate Iraq has been pretty good! Even the reporters are not in attack mode against Ari.
Time for the Country to pull together in support of our men and women about to begin the War to Liberate Iraq -- God be with them and our leaders who are sending them on their mission!
