When President Bush ended his magnificent speech with Todd Beamer's words "LET'S ROLL" I burst into tears much to the shock of our triplet girls, age 2, on the nineteenth of this month. They're fine now, in fact, they're running around shouting "Let's roll." My question, did anyone else cry? Did President Bush's speech move you to tears too?

Yes. I explained the significance of "Let's Roll" to my 11 year old son.
I am not sure if he understood why I was crying.
he also saw me openly crying on January 20, 2001.
Someday, soon, he will understand

Guilty as charged .... and proud of it!
I haven't managed to make it all the way through any of his speeches without crying. It is just so wonderful to have a man of honor and integrity, a man with values and decency in the White House again!!!
With this one, I thought I was going to get all the way through without tears ..... but when he said "Let's Roll," I was reaching for the kleenex.

Tears rolled down my cheeks uncontrollably. It was a great moment for the widow Mrs. Beamer, I'm sure. God bless her and her children.

Who was that anti-American leftist goon on MSNBC who was spewing venom after the speech to Frank Luntz? He kept saying Bush can't speak and that it was stupid when he said "Let's go rolling"
To: GoredInMich
I tear up all the time since 911 and everytime I see George Bush something makes me tear up. I have been waiting for someone to use Lets Roll,,I thought it would be a great name for this operation.

Frank Luntz is fast becoming irrelevant. He should just fade away, along with his "subjects."

I did not cry, this time.
My PC wallpaper is our Bald Eagle with American Flag over one side of face, with the words - Let's Roll at the bottom.
I recently used that image as the last slide in a powerpoint presentation briefing a new project. I expect to continue to use it.

The whole speech was incredible! It's exactly what the nation needed to hear right now, and when he ended it with "My fellow Americans....Let's roll!" I jumped up off the couch and clapped and cried, my heart was so full of pride in my country, my fellow Americans, and My president, I thought it might just burst.

Too bad the whole nation DIDN'T hear it, McGavin. Seems a couple of networks chose to stick with regular programming. The sluts.

Bush is a politician. You really don't get it do you? The reason he is much loved is exactly because he is genuine.

There were times tonight when you could tell the President was emotional.
He is a good man.
