To pick-up on your post regarding Mrs. Beamer --- I think that's what got to me the most. What a wonderful, sincere, heart-felt tribute to her husband, and for her children (one is soon to be born) to have for the rest of their lives.

She won't have her brave husband, and his children will not have their truly heroic father to help raise them to adulthood, but, my oh my, they will have the words of their father spoken by the President of the United States in a televised, prime time, speech to our nation!

I'm still overcome with emotion.

Gotta admit, my eyes teared up too, and a few rolled down both my cheeks.

What kind of proud American wouldn't at that?

Somewhere you have to know that Lisa Beamer probably cried some more, knowing that her husbands last words and final courageous act will always be remembered. They were immortalized today.

And someday, I sure hope the Beamer children understand just what a great man their father was, and the courageous, dare we say heroic act on his part, that helped to save more lives on the ground on Sept. 11th.

I pray God will bless and keep the Beamer family. They are always in my thoughts and prayers.
