Yes. I explained the significance of "Let's Roll" to my 11 year old son.
I am not sure if he understood why I was crying.
he also saw me openly crying on January 20, 2001.
Someday, soon, he will understand

Guilty as charged .... and proud of it!
I haven't managed to make it all the way through any of his speeches without crying. It is just so wonderful to have a man of honor and integrity, a man with values and decency in the White House again!!!
With this one, I thought I was going to get all the way through without tears ..... but when he said "Let's Roll," I was reaching for the kleenex.

Who was that anti-American leftist goon on MSNBC who was spewing venom after the speech to Frank Luntz? He kept saying Bush can't speak and that it was stupid when he said "Let's go rolling"

I did not cry, this time.
My PC wallpaper is our Bald Eagle with American Flag over one side of face, with the words - Let's Roll at the bottom.
I recently used that image as the last slide in a powerpoint presentation briefing a new project. I expect to continue to use it.

Tears in Seattle.

The whole speech was incredible! It's exactly what the nation needed to hear right now, and when he ended it with "My fellow Americans....Let's roll!" I jumped up off the couch and clapped and cried, my heart was so full of pride in my country, my fellow Americans, and My president, I thought it might just burst.

There were times tonight when you could tell the President was emotional.
He is a good man.

If God keeps the tears of His saints in a bottle, he's going to need a fifty-five gallon drum for mine.

Me too. I know what they mean when they say "my heart swelled with pride" because that's how I feel right now. How proud I felt watching our President. So full of confidence and love for the country he leads. Yes, I'm crying. The shackles of the previous eight years are long gone. God Bless America and President Bush! And - LET'S ROLL!

(In fine Texan fashion of course) GWB is my Superhero.. he is a sight to behold and treasure. Praise God he is our President. I now must search for a Day in the Life... ta ta!
