My wife just yelled upstairs to me that NBC News reports that Mullah Omar, leader of the Taliban, has reportedly been killed.
Can anyone confirm?

What made you think he qualified as "alive" to begin with?
The only thing that I can think of that caused him or any of is to be alive is that we are all children of God, even the bad ones amongst us. That does not mean he cannot meet his punishment.

MSNBC was relying on exit polling to project that Mullah Omar was dead. However, new data suggests that it is now TOO CLOSE TO CALL.

Two down.... another twenty or so from the leadership and the Taliban goes to the "B" team managers. Perhaps bin Laden will come out of his hole to command a few field troops ... then again, perhaps he'll just keep in his hidey-hole. Looks like now they are saying it wasn't Mullah Omar but two adult members of his family. ARGGGGGHHHHH!
