My wife just yelled upstairs to me that NBC News reports that Mullah Omar, leader of the Taliban, has reportedly been killed.

Can anyone confirm?

Fox just reported TWO of the Talibans top leaders have been killed. They said they did not have the names.

Two down.... another twenty or so from the leadership and the Taliban goes to the "B" team managers. Perhaps bin Laden will come out of his hole to command a few field troops ... then again, perhaps he'll just keep in his hidey-hole.

So far, foxnews.com, cnn.com, and msnbc.com don't have this news. Only reporting 2 male relatives of Omar dead.

I am not believing that Omar is dead as of yet.
