It was the moment that marked an extraordinary new partnership between the descendants of a genocidal regime and its victims.
At the G7 summit in June, Friedrich Merz, the German chancellor, was challenged by a reporter about Israel’s ferocious bombardment of Tehran in the Israel-Iran war, as it raged on 6,000 miles away.
“Das ist die Drecksarbeit, die Israel macht, für uns alle,” Mr Merz replied, with a stony glare at his interviewer: “Israel is doing the dirty work for all of us.”
To German ears, it was an unusually blunt and bellicose remark for a post-war chancellor. But it revealed something quite profound about Mr Merz’s world view: that Germany’s security now depends on Jews, the very people it once sought to annihilate.
Mr Merz, the leader of the centre-Right Christian Democrats [CDU], has vowed that Germany is “back” as he draws up plans to build “the strongest conventional army in Europe” to confront Russia.
The former banking executive has reversed decades of underinvestment in the Bundeswehr [German armed forces], which once sent soldiers on an exercise with broomsticks instead of guns, by passing reforms that allow potentially unlimited defence spending.
His coalition is also trying to pass a new law conscripting young men into the army by lottery, and is working through a €377bn (£330bn) “wish list” of new equipment for the Bundeswehr.
But what is perhaps most striking about Germany’s rearmament strategy is the extent to which it will rely on missiles, drones and air defence systems provided by Israel.
Eighty years on from the Holocaust, senior Israeli defence officials have told The Telegraph they are not only playing a key role in Germany’s new rearmament policy, but are “proud” to do so.

Israel is a rock on which the waves break.
Take them away, and I can almost gaurentee you that the sand castles in the West from which often quickly hear judgement of Israel, are going to feel the pain.
Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS and AQ types, Iran, Yemen, they deal with probably 75% or so of the terrorist type threats and nations threats in the Middle East we face. Even those to cowardly to say the truth because of their own internal demographics sadly benefit from Israel.
As Germany is heading down the road to totalitarianism. Not a very smart move.
We need to end all aid to Europe, pull out of NATO and remove all our troops and military equipment from all of Europe. As for Japan, we need to support countries in the Pacific Theater as Red China is the existential threat to America today.
And if Bibi were to set foot on German soil the kraut bastards would arrest him based on an illigitmate warrant issued by the International Cangaroo Court.

It’s a two-way street. The Germans build Israel’s air-independent propulsion submarines. And chances are, Israel has fitted some of them with nuclear weapons, which makes them a revenge no one can dare risk retaliation from.

I am Jewish, and about 75 members of my extended family were murdered in the Holocaust. About 15 years ago, a mutual friend introduced me to a guy whose grandfather was in the SS. I was told about that before the meeting, but he wasn’t. We spoke for a while about business and some miscellaneous matters…and near the end of the meeting our mutual friend mentioned that I was Jewish. He was surprised, but then immediately volunteered the information about his grandfather. He apologized to me for what happened I asked him why, did he do it? He obviously said no, so I told him the late he had nothing to apologize for. I told him that he wasn’t in the SS, that he did nothing, and wasn’t even alive for close to 25 years after all of those events. I couldn’t blame him, any more than I could forgive Gillis grandfather for what he did to other people. He seemed very relieved to not be blamed, but I don’t see how I (or anyone else) could blame him for crimes done by someone else when he wasn’t even alive, let alone did those crimes.

In the West, you have a lot of people that live in a bubble. These people are so far removed from reality, that you have LGBTQIA for Palestine signs and protestors.
Let me make this real simple for you:
Iran kills Americans and does everything they can to hurt us. We are in a low intensity Intel and non-conventional war with them in proxy states like Yemen. Israel is fighting Iran.
Yemen is ruled by the Houtis, a whack-job Islamic based tribal group that tries to shut down the Suez and Red Sea (a very busy water way). Israel fights them.
Hezbollah is a terrorist group which in reality is an Iranian proxy. Most terror groups have a nation state sponsor and we too play this game, sadly. But nonetheless Hezbollah is a threat to us and tries to kill Americans. Israel fights them.
ISIS and AQ is a threat to us. Israel fights them.
Hamas and some other Palestinian terror groups are a threat to us. Israel fights them. Are you old enough to remember the string of TWA hijackings? The Achille Lauro?

What I’m telling you isn’t some whacky conspiracy theory strung together with very loose facts that are taken out of context.
This isn’t like Ukraine where we created the problem and then try to pretend like Ukraine is fighting some threat we face in common. We created the Russian problem largely as a “self fulfilling prophecy” (our Intel community, DOD and Department of State never stopped viewing them as the opponent and treated them as such for years), becuse they are our number one competitor regards controlling the world’s energy reserves, and finally they are weak and we thought we can just roll them up.

Does that mean Israel gets to do whatever they want? No.
There are rules which need followed so that we as people and nations do not lose our humanity, republic, rights. When you over step these rules out of expedience, you are tossing your Republic out of the window.
Israel is real simply put a focal point for Islamic based threats. The same threats we face. The same threats the Germans face. The same threat the UK and France face...
It is an ugly war since it involves terrorism, kidnapping, using civilians, hospitals, and schools as shields. This is a conflict that is fought dirty by the opposing side, and we’re asking Israel in many aspects, to fight clean.
When 1,400 of your people are murdered and 400 taken hostage, you might over-react, like we did post 9-11. We took things way to far post 9-11 and did so for many years until things were reigned back in.
