I have repeatedly stated -- in this forum and elsewhere — that Republicans must not gloat over their rare and recent victory in the 2024 elections.
The incumbent party typically loses numerous House and Senate seats in mid-term elections. Moreover, things can change fast. Unforeseen circumstances routinely arise. (See COVID-19.) Arrogance can turn many voters off. The mainstream media is 100.0% in the tank for Democrats, as is the education establishment and other institutions. The Deep State is ever lurking. And Democrats cheat … whenever and wherever they can. That is why they are so rabidly against the concept of requiring an I.D. to vote.
Always remember: Democrats are outstanding at being evil (if nothing else), and Republicans are gifted at snatching defeat from the jaws of almost certain victory.
I guess everybody needs a hobby.
I say this in light of a recent Newsweek opinion article I accidentally read, titled, “Republicans Look Set To Get Wiped Out in 2025 and 2026.”
The piece was penned by David Faris, a professor of political science at Roosevelt University and the author of It's Time to Fight Dirty: How Democrats Can Build a Lasting Majority in American Politics.
Faris is, how shall I put this, not exactly a rocket scientist … which is likely why he is a professor of political science.
Memo to the nutty professor: Democrats have always fought dirty, especially now. Whether it be cancel culture, lies, hoaxes, physical assault (too many examples to list here) —and even assassination attempts (Ford’s Theater, Butler, Pennsylvannia?) — Democrats are quick to rally to violence and the dark arts.
One of the few things Faris may have been right about is that Republicans could conceivably be defeated in the mid-term elections … if not actually “wiped out.”

Everything that Trump has accomplished in the 1st 6 months is going to come to fruit prior to Nov ‘26

Let’s not forget they have SPARTACUS leading the charge. And AOC and Crazy Crockett.
Because polls are never wrong.
The reliable polls are :Rasmussen, the Scott Rasmussen Poll, Atlas Intel and Insider Advantage.
Trump has little to do with whether the Republican wing of the uniparty maintains it slight majority in the house.
Trump won an amazing popular vote victory in 2024 and had coattails which would give the House just a five seat majority.
The clowns running on the Republican congressional tickets may say they are for Trump’s America First agenda.
But like ALL LYING PROFESSIONAL politicians they NEVER say anything like the really mean it.
I keep voting the straight Republican ticket as I have done for a lifetime.
Not because I am conservative who votes for conservatives.
It’s because I can recognize the lesser of two evils and for no other good reason.
Some folk just find the liars in the Democrat wing of the uniparty more appealing that the lying “opposition”.
What I have been using is protesters showing up.
Unless its a Union protest and highly organized by the MSM, turn out has been very poor.
They rented the entire Westworld complex in Scottsdale a couple months ago for a rally.
This is where they host Barrett Jackson every January w 10k+ people/day

If they (THE Gop) blow the midterms they deserve to be disbanded as a political party.
We need to create a new MAGA party.
They would get nearly all the disgruntled Republicans. And many of the disillusion Democrats who realize how insane their party has become.

Nothing to do with polls. Most people are lazy and stupid. The party in power sits home and thinks everything’s ok, so why bother?
Then they sit around saying they can’t believe people voted for the other party.
Trump's base consists of "low propensity voters". They won't vote when Trump's not on the ballot.
