President Donald Trump on Saturday defended Attorney General Pam Bondi as doing a "fantastic job" after she came under fire from some Trump supporters over the Department of Justice’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
"What's going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?' They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB," Trump wrote in a lengthy post on Truth Social on Saturday. "We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening."
He referred to Epstein as the "guy who never dies," adding, "For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again."
He continued to question why people were "giving publicity to Files written by Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden administration."

Ya’ll are being controlled. Something is driving this bus. I think this is smelling like another Russian collusion op. The weight of this lands in the lap of overseas intelligence assets. And both Epstein and Lewinski were operatives.

Releasing the Epstein information was a very strong promise Trump made to the American people. If the MAGA crowd gives him a pass on this very public promise, where is the line? We already see the line slipping on the border with him talking about give the agriculture and hospitality industries waivers. Fiscal responsibility went out the window with the big beautiful bill. DOGE started off strong but seems to have flamed out. Ending the Ukraine war in the first week and now the money spigot to Ukraine is flowing again. $37 trillion in debt and we are bombing Iran, pouring money into Israel, and continuing to saber rattle.
Epstein is more than an old story. If politicians were being blackmailed, and making policy decisions based on that blackmail, our nation and its people have been harmed. If our intelligence agencies and/or foreign intelligence agencies are affecting policy through a large blackmail operation it is a critical priority to reveal the cancer, and eliminate it no matter how many “friends of MAGA” must be eliminated.
Cancer when left untreated kills the human body. The cancer of corruption, when allowed to fester will do the same to the body politic.
The nation survived a bloody civil war in order to eliminate the cancer of slavery. America cannot be great again if the corruption of the elites and our politicians is not exposed and ended. Bring it on. Accountability is often tough and ugly. But it is critical.
Nobody is. I haven’t thrown the baby out with the bathwater yet. I am still for all the good things POTUS is doing. I don’t think dismissing voter concerns and having shit posters on X attacking people who voted for him is a good thing to do. They just make it worse.

I would suggest they find a way, other than the current one that isn’t working, to repair the damage. Blaming the voters for disloyalty only exacerbates the damage. People have a right to question things when they see something that isn’t making sense.
Could be Bondi may have to fall on the sword for this mess like it or not.

At the last cabinet meeting a reporter asked Bondi if Epstein was an intelligence agent.
Bondi said she did not know—but would get back to the reporter.
Can we at least keep her around long enough to answer that question?

If the files are not legit as the President says then they could have folks in there who had nothing to do with Epstein at all—might not even have ever met him.
