As 100PercentFedUp previously reported, Israel launched several precision airstrikes on Iran on Thursday night.
The IDF conducted several key airstrikes on nuclear facilities and the homes of top Iranian scientists and military officials.
One of the most notable military officials killed in the first wave of airstrikes was the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, Hossein Salami.
It’s now been reported that nearly two dozen senior Iranian military officials have been killed in the airstrikes.
The Times of Israel had the numbers:
At least 20 senior Iranian commanders, including IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh, were killed in Israel’s strikes on Iran on Friday, two regional sources tell Reuters.
Meanwhile, Iran’s state TV reports a fresh Israeli attack on the Natanz nuclear facility, and a fire at the Tabriz airport.
Despite Israel claiming it caused significant damage to Natanz, including destroying an underground centrifuge facility, Iran claims most of the damage at the enrichment plant is only “surface level.”
Israel’s military actions are expected to last two weeks:
Time reported Iran’s response to the airstrikes:
Iran began its retaliation campaign against Israel on Friday, after warning Israel that it would pay a “heavy price” for its earlier strikes targeting military leaders, civilian officials, and nuclear sites across the country.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Effie Defrin said, according to CNN, that Iran had launched more than 100 drones toward Israeli territory. Such drones can reportedly take up to seven hours to reach Israel from Iran.
“All [aerial] defense arrays have been operating to intercept the threats,” Defrin was quoted as saying. “This is a different event to what we’ve experienced thus far, and we’re expecting difficult hours. We should show resilience and patience.”
Around 9:30 a.m. in Tel Aviv (2:30 a.m. ET), an IDF official told the media that Israel’s military had begun to shoot down Iranian drones. About two hours later, the IDF said, according to Times of Israel correspondent Emanuel Fabian, that it had “control over the situation,” though it did not specify at the time whether it had shot down all the drones.
That’s a nice start.
The people will rally in support of the mullahs. They hate Israel and any attack on their country is an attack on them. It’s been that way throughout history. People will support their own military.
I got to sing along with Vince one time in Destin!...............
How do we know/confirm this information? Sorry, but at present I consider anything in the news at this time as sourced from propaganda outlets controlled by the those engaged in the conflict.
Just in time for the scheduled protests tomorrow. Watch the Free Palestine and this to hijack the riots.
But Ahmad Pastrami and Farhad Pimento-Loaf escaped unharmed.
Dear Iran,
thanks for telling us that we didn’t damage the unground centrifuge facility. We will be back shortly to take care of that.
Regards,
IDF
When will the Muzzies learn not to F**K with Israel? Leave them alone they will leave you alone.
Now get the f’n Ayatollah.
Should be Israel’s new Anthem!
:)
Put me in a good mood!
So, Salami is TOAST? *SMIRK*
Taking out key leadership is very important in a vertical command and control system. Dictatorships always use this as they are afraid of their own armies and thus do not have the ability to improvise when a leader is taken out.
Take out the lieutenant in one of our platoons and a sergeant takes over immediately and carries on the fight. Take out their lieutenant and that platoon does not function well.
Ping to #14. GMTA. :)

They are slow learners. FIRAN!
“Iran claims most of the damage at the enrichment plant is only “surface level.””
