White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called on former first lady Jill Biden to “answer for” her role in the massive cover-up of her husband’s declining mental aptitude, accusing her of still “lying to the American people.”
Leavitt unleashed her fiery tirade against the wife of former President Joe Biden while speaking to reporters on Thursday:
“I think, frankly, the former first lady should certainly speak up about what she saw in regards to her husband… Because I think anybody, looking again at the videos and photo evidence of Joe Biden, with your own eyes and a little bit of common sense, can see that this was a clear cover up,” she said. “And Jill Biden was certainly complicit in that cover up.”

How much of the US government functioning as designed is dependent on the honor system of those being governed? If it’s a lot, then WE have a failed failing system of government and it’s not going to work as is.

The press and elected and appointed oath holding officials who covered this up need to answer for it. She was just his wife and maybe a criminal, but the real criminals are the one’s who had real official power, like his cabinet and VP who failed their constitutional duties to declare him unfit. They are the criminals who violated their oaths, you know, Austin, Blinken, Garland, Yellen... Those are the traitors.
Democrats love being called liars and hypocrites. Then they have a specific person or group they and their media propagandists can attack with impunity. It’s Rules for Radicals.

That is certainly true; they just let the political machine grind on ignoring Biden's growing frailty for the sake of keeping control over the party
At what point isn't this a case of "elder abuse" ?
A wife can defend her husband and should. She could cheat her husband and that is cause for divorce. But she has no official capacity to act. Biden’s cabinet and other official sworn assistants did. They are the one’s to hold to account. Going after Jill just lets the principals of the “Party” skate. It’s a distraction. And I don’t mean the democratic party, though that too, but our version of the CCP, the guys in front and behind who control that Apparat of State.
Joe was chosen as a manipulable figurehead from day one. I'm guessing Obama was the author of the scam.

A congressional hearing on spousal/elder abuse? How about a congressional hearing on why Congress, including Republicans, didn’t invoke the 25th Amendment?
I'm not a lawyer, but isn't there some law that shields a wife from being forced to testify against her husband?

Remember Jill after the debate? She said “Joe, you did great! You answered all the questions!” while he stood there like a statue with a blank stare. She seemed like a mother praising her 5 year old son for spelling “dog” correctly. She knew he was gone way before that debate fiasco...
I don’t know if Conress alone can invoke the 25th amendment.
I know there’s a key role for members of the president’s cabinet to play with the 25th amendment.
I guess the short answer is that Republicans did not want to pick that fight.
