The United States will no longer mediate peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia after Vladimir Putin refused to sign up to a ceasefire.
The State Department said it is changing “the methodology of how we contribute” to the talks and will no longer “fly around the world at the drop of a hat” for meetings.
“We will continue to help, but we will no longer fly around the world as mediators in meetings,” said Tammy Bruce, a spokesperson.
She added that Kyiv and Moscow must now present “concrete” proposals for ending the war and should meet directly to resolve the conflict.
Washington withdrawing from peace talks came soon after the US signed a minerals deal with Ukraine on more favourable terms for Kyiv, while Donald Trump green-lit his administration’s first round of weapons deliveries to the war-torn country.

President Trump said not long ago that the war was Ukraine’s fault, and indeed it is.
Of course Putin wants peace. But Zelensky refuses to be sane, rational, etc.

Most Euro leaders are tyrants. They also appear to want WW3 against Russia, but can’t do it without the US. Putin is anti-globalist and anti-pedo, so they hate Putin, plus Russia has huge national resources they’d like to get the paws on.
I’d say we migh have a US exit from NATO within 3 months.

We exit NATO and just sell them as much ordinance as we can without depleting our own resources.

Clearly Putin and Z are not interested in peace, nor in reducing the death toll.
The US can do one thing:
Drill baby drill.
Then Russia cannot sell to w Europe at high price and finance the war.
The world economy avoids inflation.

US drillers can’t operate existing wells below $55/bbl, and won’t look for new opportunities below $65-$70/bbl.
Much of the cost of drilling, like mining, like construction is in the delays due to EPA and all kinds of permits. Reducing regulations, especially of the climate armageddon religion would speed up the process and thus greatly reduce the cost... of drilling ... of mining.... or construction.
