Just a thought
Either way, there’s no right to riot but to “peaceably assemble”, and they are not the “people” of the USA.
Thinking about this more, imagine Trump, leveraging college kids that go to liberal schools, to get his policy accomplished - it’s hilarious
Not a bad idea. The problem is that the next President may be a Democrat. And he’ll allow them to protest.
Minority and Republican: words that go together like ham and cheese
Sign an agreement not to protest? It is ILLEGAL for a non-citizen to take part in any political action in the country I live in. If caught, you are fined, go to jail, and are deported.
That should be the policy of the United States.
If we stop allowing foreigners into our colleges and universities, more Americans would be able to get a seat in the classrooms at a cheaper price. Time for the foreigners to start programming and brainwashing their own kids.
Every country should have the right to kick out foreigners arbitrarily for any reason they choose. If you are not a citizen of the country you are in you are a guest and guests should be on their best behaviour. End of.
Excellent idea.......it could be done through the Dept of Education.
If they protest, then deport them.
I think all Palestinian protesters should be sentenced to a year in Gaza under Hamas control. All BLM protesters should have their homes looted and burned, all pro abortionist should be aborted...call it late term, all LGBTWRSTUVWXYZ pedo freaks spend a year in Afghanistan.
I could go on but you get my drift.
I’m former university faculty in electrical engineering. At the graduate level, of you go into any engineering department in the U.S. you’ll think you’re visiting China or India. The irony is that their graduate education is typically paid for by research grants from the U.S. gov’t. Self-promoting faculty love them because they are effectively indentured servants and can be worked like it.
I don’t care who peacefully protests. What I care about is someone who comes to this country to go to school and promotes hatred. Those people need to be shipped out with an invitation to never return.
“If we stop allowing foreigners into our colleges and universities, more Americans would be able to get a seat in the classrooms at a cheaper price.”
Except that there are VERY FEW Americans not in college who can match the educational levels of foreign students.
The ROT starts in pre-school and only gets worse as American kids are subject to UNIONIZED teachers.
People is not the same as citizen. Where the Constitution means citizen it says citizen.
I think it probably is in the fine print already that “a temporary visa holder is not to indulge in political activity during their stay”.
i don’t know if this holds for green card holders - I think it doesn’t, but don’t know
No, not arbitrarily - that would make entry at any stage fraught with uncertainties
If you are not a citizen of the country you are in you are a guest and guests should be on their best behaviour. -- this is ALREADY included in most visa minutae - if you are a visa holder and commit a crime (or even a misdemeanor) you can be asked to leave. So technically if you cross on a red light, you can be asked to leave - and that is NOT arbitrary
Enforce the law. Kick out illegal alien invaders and their illegal alien spawn.
Whether a country has a procedure for appealing deportation is a matter for them. But it is that country’s sovereign right to eject them if they decide and the country they are from should receive thrn back without objections or questions.
It should be a basic principle that being a non citizen in some else’s country is a privilage, not a right.
You shouldn’t be able to jail non citizens without due process and a fair trial like anyone else, but you should be able to kick them out at any point. It is the presence in someone else’s country that is not a right.
