Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) doubled down on his recent comments about transgender athletes, saying the response to them proves his point.
“I was just speaking authentically as a dad about one of many issues where I think we’re just out of touch with the majority of voters, and I stand by my position,” Moulton said Sunday during an MSNBC appearance. “The backlash I’ve received proves my point that we can’t even have these discussions as a party.”
“And we’ve got to be able to have these debates,” he added. “But, instead, we have a wing of our party that shames us, that tries to cancel people who try to even bring up these difficult topics, and, frankly, shames voters.”
Moulton was recently quoted in a story from The New York Times about Democratic finger-pointing after Vice President Harris lost the 2024 election, saying his party had leaned too heavily into identity politics, forging a path for President-elect Trump and Republicans to a decisive victory.

IMHO Moulton absolutely wants to run for President. We might even see it in 2028
He’s exposing himself to fire from the left-wing crazies in his party and he’s knows its a winning strategy.
He’s doing the groundwork now to run as a more centrist or “common sense” Democrat.
I want to know if Seth Moulton is any relation to Vincent Moulton, a.k.a. “Moulty”, drummer for the 1960s Boston-area band the Barbarians, who lost his hand at age 14 trying to blow up a school.

The Barbarians didn’t get too far, but they opened for the Beatles at one point, and were part of the T.A.M.I. show, a legendary concert in Santa Monica featuring, among others, James Brown and the Rolling Stones.
These are the kind of Democrats the country needs.

Annnd that is why your party lost- big time- people on BOTH sides of the isle got plenty sick and tired of being shamed and assaulted, and cancelled by the intolerant faction of the liberal party that they switched and voted for Pres Trump!

We’re right on this issue... and democrats who don’t think so will assist with the end of the democrat party.
I watched that. I was begging for the black conservative to say, “tell you what, i’ll change my language. Most normal people don’t think biological males should compete against biological females.” That would have twisted the “progressive” freak who was arguing with him up in knots.
