Former President Donald Trump is leading Vice President Kamala Harris in five key swing states, and by three points nationally, according to recent polling.
Two polls conducted by AtlasIntel between October 12-17, 2024, found that Trump was leading Harris nationally by nearly 51 percent, while Harris received 48 percent; and that Trump was leading Harris in swing states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada.
In the national poll, which surveyed 4,180 likely voters, Trump received 50.8 percent of support, while Harris received 48.1 percent of support.

Good news, but even this poll has Harris ahead in NC. What gives there?
I’ve been watching comments on YouTube videos and polls that get recommended to me. Many are “pro Trump” content and the comments are “pro Trump”.
On the other hand, some of the content is “pro Harris” and the comments have consistently been “pro Harris” with tons of confidence, scorn for Trump and over-the-top praise for Kamala’s leadership and brilliance.
But just lately, I have seen a strong shift in the nature of “pro Harris” comments on YouTube. All of a sudden, I see many comments saying “I haven’t given up yet ...” and “I think the polls underestimate Harris ...” and “I still think she might win ...”
Good to see.

That’s good to hear but the real battle is going to be between Trump’s lawyers and the Democrat fraud machine.
If Trump wins, it will be tied up in the courts forever. Rioting and 2020 all over again
A ton of new 18 year old voters and a lot of new people in the triangle.
Western NC is Republican. That part of the state was wiped out by hurricane Helene, making voting almost impossible in some regions.
The cheat machine is in full swing. Vote!
Atlas Intel is the “Gold Standard” of polling. This is really good news!
Up,up and away?
Stupidity?
Are there no editors anymore?
“Atlas Intel is the “Gold Standard” of polling. This is really good news!”
I agree.
And I’m tired of hearing the “wet blankets” all over the place - “Trump won’t win, the fix is in”, yada yada.
I suspect they are the type who instead of letting themselves feel optimism, prefer to look on the dark side, and live for saying, “Toldja so!”
Must have done all the polls in Charlotte and Raleigh.
Too true. So many on this forum equate cynicism with savvy intelligence, they couldn’t be more wrong. It’s rather an indication of shallow thinking and a lazy mind.
The polls will be back and forth among these states through election day and evening.

I don’t see a blowout for either side, the way the country is split up. It looks a lot like 2016 & 2020 so far.
I do think Trump will beat his 46% average from previous elections, but if he’s just cutting margins in solid blue states without getting movement in the battlegrounds, it won’t matter.
Both campaigns and political parties look like they’re locked in a Mexican Standoff.

Free Republic isn’t the only place this happening.
I read a lot of democrat online sites and there is definitely some of that going on with their troops.
