The Donald Trump campaign is continuing to ask the Secret Service and White House for additional security measures in the final month of the election, as threats from Iran remain imminent — but has not gotten all its requests approved, The Post has learned.
In the past month, Trump adviser Susie Wiles has written letters to the White House to coordinate with the Secret Service to increase assets to protect the former president. The Secret Service has OK’d some additional security measures, but some requests have gone unanswered.
Rep. Michael Waltz (R-Fla.) has also written a letter requesting Trump get access to a military plane to transport him or additional security measures to protect his plane, as the 78-year-old has faced two attempts on his life and has received briefings from the intelligence community about an active assassination plot from Iran.
The Secret Service has yet to respond to the plane request.
President Biden responded to the military plane request on Friday.
“As long as he doesn’t ask for F-15s. No, I was being facetious,” he told reporters.
“Look, I’ve told the department to give him every single thing he needs — as if he were a sitting president, give all that he needs. If it sits within that category, that’s fine. But if it doesn’t, he shouldn’t.”
The request for the military plane, as reported by the Washington Post, would be the first time a former president has had such an extensive security detail with them for a campaign.
But the move may be necessary, as a Secret Service agent recently revealed that the agency was notified of a “possible drone strike” by Iran on Trump as early as 2023.

Hire the Mossad.
President is in far more danger from The Swamp than he is from Iran.
Not reassuring that the brain-addled Hairsniffer-In-Chief jokes when asked about these reasonable requests.
I’d worry about the Dems not Irzn.

Especially after the language was changed in a directive which, in two different ways, removes the legal obligation for DoD and cooperating agencies or depts to refrain from assassinating anyone. The words “under no circumstances” were removed, and the word “shall” was not replaced with the word “must” which is used in the rest of the directive but instead with the word “will” which legally expresses an intent to do something but not a legal obligation to do it.

My understanding is that this directive would allow the SecDef or Biden to issue a secret exception to a cooperating agency (such as the Secret Service would be if assisting the DoD to defend from an Iranian assassination plot).
This change was made 5 days after the House unanimously approved the Secret Service providing as much protection for Trump as for Biden.
Wise advice.
Looks like Hezbola and Hamas also hired Mossad without knowing they did. It blew up on them, big time. I suspect we will never know how Mossad pulled off the exploding pagers and radio caper. It was brilliant in the extreme. Those agents working for Mossad are brave beyond description. If caught their death would take a long time until they cracked or died. Their names will never be on monuments, nor acknowledged by the government. Perhaps in 100 years their names will be in books but not now. Israel and the West owe these unknown agents much.

👍 What a great post.
I don’t trust the USSS snipers to be for real. Why would I?
Come on Israel, nuke them and do the world a favor.
Given that I know nothing about executive security, what could stop Trump from hiring some individuals (with the experience) to augment his Secret Service protection?
I realize that it might not be an easy thing to do because USSS and the new group have different ways of operating, different weapons, different tactics, different communications, etc.
But could it be made to work in a short period of time?
Lead agent “Sir, Dan is transitioning to Deborah…”
Director of Secret Service, “well add Barbara to the list”.
Lead agent “ Barbara is waiting for Dan’s male member so she can become Bob”.
“Ted?”
”Suing us because of DEI policies”
”William?”
”suspended, went to Diddy parties and there’s tapes”
”Ben.”
”while guarding former president Clinton on a trip to Epstein‘s Island, used the mmmmm, the facilities, and there’s tapes”
Director of Secret Service, “is there anyone left to assign?”
“ afraid not sir”
Director of Secret Service “ well, you know what that means? Back to Congress for funding, oh boy.”

In the CIA’s Memorial Wall, there’s a Book of Honor that lists all CIA personnel who died in the line of duty.
There are years where there’s a star - but the person’s name is not there. For example, someone died in 1950 - but their name is still a secret. Same for 1965 where there’s two anonymous stars.
I do wonder what these men were doing that their names have been held back since then.
He needs to hire private security.
Former military are on the record saying this!
So Rat Party Headquarters *and* the mullahs want him dead?
