The sidewall is not near as tough as you think. With a very sharp knife. An ice pick could be filed down to be made concealable, you can puncture the sidewall 4-5 times in very short order. Your tires arent gonna explode just leak the air out.

These eco idiots do not realize, that, they are not helping anything, instead, they are making things worse, by slashing a perfectly good tire. The energy and resources to change the tire, and, they have to make another tire, to replace the one taken out of inventory.
