At a Philadelphia protest against the presidential debate between Kamal Harris and Donald Trump on September 10, 2024, protesters waved Hamas and PFLP flags, held a banner stating: “Amerika is the head of the snake,” and chanted, “Yahya Sinwar, you make us proud!” Protesters continued to laud Hamas’s Izz Al-din Al-Qassam Brigades and the Lion’s Den. They added: “Resistance is justified, when people are occupied.” The protest’s MC led the crowd in a chant: “U.S. imperialist – number one terrorist!” Participants chanted that Vice President Kamala Harris is a “war criminal,” and called for “Intifada, revolution,” while making a triangle finger gesture indicating support for the Palestinian armed struggle.

In portions of the protest not included in the clip, Lion’s Den statement about the November 1, 2022 Israeli elections was read out at the protests and representatives from Students for Justice in Palestine and the Philadelphia Palestine Coalition gave speeches, urging participants to boycott the elections. The protest was streamed live on Status Coup News on Facebook and YouTube.
