Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost on Wednesday did his bit to amplify a conspiracy theory that Haitian immigrants legally present in Springfield, Ohio are stealing and eating pets, ducks and geese.
The conspiracy has been debunked by the Springfield mayor, city manager and chief of police, as well as by Republican Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine. Yost is looking to succeed DeWine as governor in 2026.
“Citizens testified to City Council,” Yost posted on X Wednesday. “These people would be competent witnesses in court. Why does the media find a carefully worded City Hall press release better evidence?”

Anybody who believes anything any government official says these days is stoopid.
As President Trump said, denial is maybe appropriate for a city manager who wishes to keep problems under wraps. Not “debunked.”

I saw the X post by Yost yesterday and was glad to see that he is standing with the people.
I hope he is using his Attorney General powers to prevent illegals from registering to vote in Ohio.

YUP. All the FEDS have to do is dangle some money in the faces of local elected officials and they will all say: “Thank you Border Czar Kamala”.

DeWine is sending National Guard to Springfield. He says. NOt sure why all the lying by press and others when there are videos, police reports etc about the resulting crime from dumping 20,000 unWesternized Haitians into a town of 50,000.
Biden-Harris paying landlords to kick citizen tenants out to replace with Haitians. Somehow they are getting DRIVERS LICENSES (we know why), and there is video of a DMV employee saying they are ‘not allowed’ to say whether these people are being given the same tests as regular citizens.
Additionally they are being given new cars, which most do not know how to drive or understand or care about our road rules, and citizens are afraid to drive on their own streets.
