Those we love most – siblings, best friends, family – have the ability to hurt us most deeply, whether intentionally or not. It often takes a discussion and apology to bring forgiveness and restore the damaged relationship. God likely has the same wounded feeling when we, His beloved children, wander away from Him and His instructions.
God promised Abraham, Moses, David and others throughout history that faithfulness to Him and His commands would bring blessings but unfaithfulness would bring curses, defeat, and famine. David’s son Solomon, upon completion of the temple God had directed him to build, offered sacrifices of 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep. Then Solomon led Israel in worshipping and honoring the one true God during the temple’s dedication. He prayed that God would “...hear their prayer and their plea...and forgive your people, who have sinned against you.” (1 Kings 8:49-50). Scripture says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John1:9) Denying or ignoring sin does nothing to restore our relationship to God!
All have sinned and need forgiveness. As recipients of forgiveness, we must offer forgiveness to others. Jesus told a parable about a king who forgave his servant a great debt that he could never have repaid. The wicked servant, though, refused to forgive a fellow servant a very small debt, demanding that he be thrown into jail for non-payment. When the king heard this, he asked, “Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?” (Matt 18:33)
The gift of God’s grace and mercy is ours for the asking! Nobody is too far gone to be forgiven! The price has been paid in one amazing sacrifice – the blood of Jesus!! Given for you! For me! For everybody! Praise His Holy name for this eternal gift!

This is so infuriating.
I know it is true as my friend met one of these illegals when she had a garage sale last month and the woman was doing the same thing twice a month, but only getting $1800.00 on each entry.
