Moments after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his independent presidential bid and endorsed Republican candidate Donald Trump, members of his famous Democratic family weighed in with words of disappointment.
In a scathing joint statement released on Friday, Aug. 23, five of Bobby's siblings — who are all children of the late U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy — publicly distanced themselves from his decision to join forces with Trump less than one year after leaving the Democratic Party.
"We want an America filled with hope and bound together by a shared vision of a brighter future, a future defined by individual freedom, economic promise and national pride," the statement reads. "We believe in [Kamala] Harris and [Tim] Walz."

“It is sad how badly Kennedy women are treated.”
And RFKJR is as bad as any of them when it comes to women, going at least back to his college years.
Don’t forget that it was Caroline Kennedy who, along with many family members, endorsed Obama over Hillary in 2008. Obama repaid her by letting her choose his VP. She chose her good friend Joe Biden.
It is easier to leave Scientology then it is to leave the Democrat party.
My theory still holds that except for some people (like me) many tots sitting on the carpet in front of mommy are trained to hate conservatives.
Some grow up and other remain children, naively still believing Dems are “for the little guy” and Dems “help the minorities and less fortunate.” and “Republicans are only for the millionaires.”
Childish minds inside grown and sometimes white haired and withered leftover hippies and anti-American protesters.
Reminds me so much of Trump’s sister and others who envy him and want him brought down in sibling rivalry.
In the Bible the first murder was over sibling rivalry. Cain and Abel.
LOL! I think that sums it up well.
A reasoned man and I do not agree with everything he says, but I respect him. Stay strong Bobby!
RFKjr has some kind of a throat condition that makes it come out gravelly like that. It is hard to listen to.
Before Bill Clinton ran for president, I heard him give a speech about education from the steps of the Arkansas Capitol building. He said all the right things about education, but his voice was terrible. I did not think he could ever run for president because of it. Either he stop doing whatever was causing that terrible sound or he got the best medical care in the world for some kind of allergies because that awful voice disappeared.
RFK Jr. is no saint but he did the right thing today. The siblings and the rest are all scum
It’s due to a vocal cord issue. Not weakness.
Research helps
Unless you count the deep state as one of the problems.
I may be projecting, but I think JFK and RFK would be proud of the stand RFK Jr. took today.
They endorsed the demented one, don’t you remember?
I think it is sad that JR has such a week voice when he delivered such a strong message.
I was blown away with its clarity and his bravery in exposing the media and the democrat party in a televised speech for their continuous assault on democracy and election interference.
I am beginning to believe he and DJT are bonded by their fearlessness in telling the truth!
What a selfless act today. I think his dad would be proud of him right now.
That is GOLD, my FRiend. Send it to the Bee, fast!
We knew this would happen. Pick a side. The establishment Kennedy’s or the liberal populist.
That’s a dumb comment. RFK Jr is not Ted Kennedy, who was a vile POS
Your dad’s values were fascist ones, dear children.
Surely the Kennedy family can’t make any claims Trump and women, given their preceding generations’ records.
And as Catholic pols in the ‘60s, their predecessors weren’t backing abortion.
What exactly are they objecting to?
