Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) defended Vice President Harris’s newly unveiled economic agenda, saying it will help ensure the economy is working properly.
“I do because I’ve been an attorney general, just like the Vice President, I pursued price gouging statutes and their violations when it comes to the price of gas in Kentucky, and we won and ultimately returned millions of dollars to our people. This isn’t about trying to price fix. It’s just making sure that the economy is operating the way it should, that this is really supply and demand, which we all respect,” he said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday.

KY voters are as stupid as South Carolinas
The only “guardrail” we need is a circular one around Beshear and Harris, 30 feet tall and made of razor wire...and great white sharks...
So, if states like Kentucky have price-gouging statutes, then why does one need to be implemented at the federal level?
Indeed these idiots, like Beshear, are Marxists. The Marxist DemonKKKrats are beyond reality. They are like those Heavens Gate fools who walked down the Santa Monica Pier to catch a ride on an alien mothership moving behind the Hal Bop comet. The castrations (Autopsies on those who died in the Rancho Santa Fe mass suicide show that some followers of the Heaven's Gate cult -- including leader Marshall Applewhite -- had been castrated.) and mass suicides committed by its members in 1997 are among the cult's bazaar actions. Today's DemonKKKrats are damned-well on a suicide mission for America.
Indeed the left cockroaches are out trying to cover the fact that inflation causes operating costs they bring out their boogie man price gouging as the cause.
It’s hard as getting a democrat to admit to the fact as it is to get them to tell a truth about anything..
Major multicar accidents happen all the TIME between the “guardrails” and most times OVER the guardrails. How is Kamrad Kamala going to police PHYSICS the reality of Economics the govt thinks it can control. Bad enough we have suborned our currency to a contracted/chartered Federal Reserve which is NOT a “reserve” for our government or our People. It is a PRIVATE Bank which LOVES Socialism/Communism providing the restrictions on a people they can manipulate, as they manipulate our currency and we, can do nothing!
William Pitt made this statement: “Let the American people go into their debt-funding schemes and banking systems, and from that hour their boasted independence will be a mere phantom.” He realized the maxim that Rothschilds laid down as fundamental: “Let us control the money of a country and we care not who makes its laws.”
Meanwhile, from Upstate NY a continuing preview of coming attractions if we don’t restore our republic...
How about operating the government the way it should? Waste, fraud, and abuse have gone unchecked way too long.
Comrade Kamala doesn’t even know what she is talking about. She calls it “price gage-ing (Gage refers to a measurement according to some standard or system. Gage also refers to marijuana—something Kamala does know about).” It should be called price gauging (an act or instance of charging customers too high a price for goods or services, especially when demand is high and supplies are limited).
Kamal’s term, “price gage-ing,” makes it hard for her no-information followers to check out the term how it describes the situation we are in on the internet.
The government needs to get in the guard rails. Balance the budget, cut tons of spending, then complain about the free market
Clinton Triangulation.
Yeah...Andy issued and emergency proclamation that activated KY gas price gouging laws (I’m guessing likely meant for very harsh emergency conditions). He did this over a planned 2 cent/gallon increase. Guess who’s gonna run for re-election?
When is the feral government going to stay within its constitutionally enumerated powers guardrails?
“Guardrails” 🙄
Politically Kentucky is unusual. The state is red but the governers office has been overwhelmingly dimocrat for decades. Every news outlet in the state is extremely liberal, and a lot of folks in the eastern part of the state have a YUGE Union legacy due to coal. The hillbillys are conservative but “my papaw was dimocrat” rules the day. The teachers unions and state news outlets got lil andy elected both times.
Does it GET any dumber than THAT???
"KAMUNISM"
We've been over that fiction of yours before. Neither Kentucky nor North Carolina have been adverse to electing Democrat governors. No prior Democrat including Andy's father have ever been this far left, though...but when you are able to market yourself and control your own image, you can get away with a lot. Andy Beshear had an approval rating in the mid 60s going into the election, and had that well before Daniel Cameron was even nominated or even announced he was going to run.
Kentucky has elected blacks more than once in statewide elections and knew full well they were black when they elected them (including Cameron himself who was an incumbent office holder at the time of that election)...and their Dem opponents made sure of it, including using their own b-roll footage for the entirety of their own ads they blanketed across the state, likely because they thought it would help him if people knew they were black (wrong). If Kentucky was still not voting for people based on skin color Cameron would not have won areas like Pike County, nor elected Latinos and blacks in conservative legislative districts.
Robinson was also already elected statewide in North Carolina in a hard fought contest - he's a statewide incumbent office holder as we speak - and everyone knew full well he was black when he was elected...and was even or leading until making some recent comments deemed to be controversial and getting a lot of negative press attention.
Beshear, already with an approval in the mid 60s, also had in excess of $20 million to Cameron's $5 million. Cameron was on the defensive the entire time. Beshear portrayed Cameron during the entire campaign as a dangerous extremist wanting young girls to be raped and forced to carry the child to term and die in child birth. Beshear was never put on the defensive for his extreme views and marketing himself as a good ol' mainstream Kentuckian. Nevertheless, even with Beshear's sky high approval ratings and being in control of the campaign narrative from start to finish, the end result was 53-47. A mere shift of 3% of the vote changes the result...which would indicate that had Daniel Cameron had matched Beshear in fundraising and resources and been on offense rather than defense the whole time, the result may have been different...only needed to shift 3% of the vote...probably would have shifted more if Beshear's extreme views had been able to be highlighted and make him have to defend what he has done...and of course allow Cameron to combat the "extreme" image Beshear created of him.
See my post above.
*We’ve been over that fiction of yours before.*
Glad you find me as memorable.
*Beshear, already with an approval in the mid 60s, also had in excess of $20 million to Cameron’s $5 million.*
If it’s money it’s a GOP problem. None of our serious candidates should go into battle with a lack of contributions. The rats don’t have that problem.
*If Daniel Cameron had matched Beshear in fundraising and resources and been on offense rather than defense the whole time, the result may have been different*
We’re still in the majority there. Where were our VOTERS? They were volunteering at Planned Parenthood praying their daughters would not get knocked up by the Dan Camerons and the OJ’s out there.
