Biden’s decision to drop out ‘has nothing to do with his health,’ White House says

President Biden’s decision to step aside as the expected Democratic nominee in November has “nothing to do with his health,” his top spokesperson said Wednesday ahead of his prime-time address to the nation.

“It has nothing to do with his health. The president is going to speak to this directly to the American people in prime time,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters during a briefing.

“In his letter he talked about the country, he talked about the party, he talked about the moment we’re in right now,” she continued. “It is not about his health. I can say no, that’s not the reason. But hear him out tonight.”

Jean-Pierre also rejected the idea that she and White House aides were engaged in a “cover up” to mask Biden’s decline from the public.

“There’s been no cover up, want to be very clear about that,” she said.

I don't know how old you are, or how good your memories are, but back in 1992, Bill Clinton admitted to the world that he had smoked marijuana, but didn't inhale.

It seems small and trifling by contemporary standards, but up until then, illicit drug use by a presidential candidate was considered a deal breaker. If it wasn't why would Slick Willie have spun it with the, "didn't inhale," caveat?

To me personally at the time in my early 20s, his having smoked it pot in the '60s wasn't that big of a deal, but I was personally insulted that he would try to sell me the BS line about not inhaling in a carefully scripted interview to deal with the subject.

I thought to myself, surely, the American people aren't stupid enough to buy this lie, and I thought most Americans would be as insulted as I was that he'd try to peddle this obvious lie to them.

Of course, I was wrong. Enough Americans bought his garbage to elect him that November.

12. Bribers quit bribing.
13. They weren't going to allow anymore minors in the White House for Biden to sniff.
14. Sexual assault allegations were going to get ugly.
15. Deep State wasn't ready for a black woman president.
16. Deep State found out Trump was his VP.
17. The most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics is under too much scrutiny.

19. They promised Joe ice cream and little girls to sniff if he resigned.
